Guess when you charge $70 a barrel (up from $8 2-4 yrs ago) you can buy whatever the hell you want.
Dubai is a level of rich most people can't grasp. My Dad, when he lived in Egypt, used to visit there. It's insane.

Has anyone been there before?? I ment Duabai?? Is it a expensive place to go?? Looking at all the high tech buildings and nice cars there it would seem like an expensive place to go for a vacation. I wouldn't mind checking the city out one day.

I have several peers working there now....one is at the Burg-Al Arab Hotel....the World's only 7 star property.
I would go there in a heartbeat.....

It is so crazy that Lambo's are a dime and a dozen there. Seeing the pictures..they are everywhere. They don't even care where they park their cars. Door ding is the last thing I want to see on my TL even. Haha!!!

Wow, reading that wikitravel page I learned that Dubai has one of the highest per capita road death rates in the world!

I can only imagine what the roads would be like with all these guys with 600 horsepower supercars zooming around!
