The only thing that I am uneasy about is that you have to give them your whole life info for $150.

This explains how they make their money back by selling this info about you though.

I take that back, on the page they CLAIM that they don't sell info. Still don't feel comfortable about anyone having that much info about my life though. just my opinion.

I think I've read that type of clause in pretty much any credit card, bank account etc... legal disclosure form. If you're getting paid $150, I'm pretty sure your info is worth waaaay more than that.

I discussed this survey with the moderators and invited them first. This is just something fun.. which i thought some of you could enjoy.

Your information is never sold. Your personal information is not that important, we actually need your input for certain products; which you already own and use. I'm sure plenty of you have done focus groups in the past. I figured since we are all car fanatics that a few of you would be interested in participating.

EVERYONE: I've been to a couple of these through El_barto and they've been nothing short of awesome. You can tell it's a big, professional operation the second you walk in. They had really good sandwiches from a local deli shop in the waiting room and the two surveys I did didn't require any personal info -- I just walked outta there with a nice check to my name, so it's very likely that they aren't making money by selling info to anyone.

Both of the surveys I went to were in the San Fernando Valley.

If I could go to them, I so would......theres nothing like receiving a cheque for answering some questions and listening to a discussion...and by the looks of it, eating good deli sandwhiches....
