Now till Oct 20th, save 100 on any set of 4 wheels or 4 tires. If you order both or like 2 sets of 4 tires u save 200. It appears automaticly in your cart no coupon code or anything like that.

Wow their tires are way over priced. As much as $50 more then tire rack each.

235-45-17

FL pays sales tax as well.

suprised to see that. Usually they are 10-20 higher a tire, but when u add in shipping from tirerack, usualy they come out with 2-3 dollars of each other.

4 ex. yoko av4 are 9 dollars more at DTD but with TR's $35 in shipping its almost a washout between the two untill u add in the 100 discount at DTD.

And if a store is out of stock, they'll charge you shipping to get the tires there (which matters b/c the coupon expires in a few days). Fun.

edit:
was referring to the in-store discount:

Wow, there's a HUGE difference when going to www.discounttiresdirect.com and www.discounttires.com even with the $100 discount from each site. With the direct website, it's cheaper to have the tires shipped to where you're at compared to buying it locally from a store near you in the case of discounttires.com. Although you get free valve stem, tire rotation for life, and prorated tire hazards, you still end up paying more due to disposal fee and sales tax. Damn!

No sales tax for CA. How odd ... their online shop and b&m stores are separate entities?

And how do you drop ship these things to a store? Just ship it to the store's address?

they're not studded, so it's fine.

my car will make it up to the mountain ~ 40 times this year so I always run snow tires.

oh i wasnt directing the question to your purchase, just a general question.

heres another one, do winter tires last just as long as all seasons? or are the compounds softer/harder?

most studless snow tires have a softer compound for the first 50% or so of the tread. After you wear through that you basically have an all season tire.

I pulled some pretty quick 1/4 mile times in the CL-S w/ my Pirelli studless tires.
