Our vendor has a ok price on aftermarket OE CAT replacement. It's $225 plus shipping.(cann't remember)
You can check on ebay I did see one for about $150 a week or 2 ago.

if i go to a local exhaust shop and let them weld a cat on for me, u think ild get a CEL?

You cann't get them to weld new CAT on for you, B/c it's bolt onto the back part of header too close an not safe. You got to get aftermarket OE CAT that will bolt right up to header. Well if you know someone they can gutted out your CAT to help you saved money an keep CEL off so pass emission. But soon or later got get new CAT.

there are horrer storeis with After market CATS..they go bad fast, hence the price diff of 200 vs Acura OEM (700+)
