I am going to go ahead with my 2 stage refund - and I will also like to get back an agreement that 3.2_CL offered me in the PM
This should be obvious, but just to make sure there isn't any doubt, all of these amounts are in U.S. Dollars, not Canadian Dollars. Don't forget that when you are writing any checks.

Ok, I would like to post what anthonya has agreed on with time frames:

It will get to them within 5 business days of me shipping them.

I would appreciate this timeline for the full refund

1. PaliPlaya: $150 (JAN 19)
2. Niko2000TL: $298 (JAN 19)
3. Gamezilla: $350 (JAN 19)
4. Gaping46and2: $300 (JAN 19)
5. AMGala: $300 (JAN 26)
6. JDMj20acL: Offered $250, awaiting JDMj20acL's response (JAN 26)

I hope anthonya will follow through on this, I believe he will. Those are the ship dates for the certified checks, they will arrive give or take 5 business days. Be patient, this is better than receiving nothing at all. There is no need for any angry tones to be taken any further, let's just see what happens.

Lastly, he said he will do signature confirmation to make sure that everything has been received. Let's all play nice and let this work itself out now.

With good timing, anthonya has lost his job. He is requesting a price drop in which he will send out EVERYONE'S funds by the 16th and if they are not at the final destination within 7 days, you are all more than welcome to do what you please. Here are his numbers, let me know what you think:

Don't worry, if it's not, he has a lot of charges coming to him and he knows it. I've already spoken to a friend who is a lawyer and I'm well aware what this group of people is capable of. For starters, international fraud (the big one a.k.a FBI investigation, especially considering there are 6 people this is likely), fraud (small claims court and possibly jail sentence along with larger fines), among more. He's walking into a lot of trouble if he doesn't come through on this. I've also spent too much time to let this situation disappear. These people are either being paid back by anthonya or through his excessive fines. His choice.

To all:

Yes it is true to company I worked with has downsized. I will be issuing out these payments by the 16th of January.

I would appreciate this post to be locked - you can reopen it if the payments are not sent.

I don't have time for this - and would like to move on with my life. I will never be shipping without signature on delivery (new thing I found out about) as well as full insurance (not a min) and tracking.

So yes, I know you may not believe it - but I have never lied to you guys, and this is not a lie. I will send the information to the mod, to 3.2_CL and to the buyers - and someone can unlock this at that point and post all that info up.

As would I which is why I'm heading this process. Unfortunately I've spent over 10 hours attempting to work this out and won't see any monetary benefits, but atleast if it works out right anthonya will not be going to jail or being fined and the buyers will have received most of their money back. But, we only have another 2 weeks before Judgement Day when everyone should be receiving their checks.

I greatly thank 3.2_CL for all the assistance with this. I don't want to be out so much money as I don't have anything to show for it BUT the buyers too claim to have nothing to show for it and I am prepared to make this right from a business perspective. I am ready to do this now and like I mentioned above - will send all the info to the MOD and to 3.2_CL to verify its all legitimate and they can post it back on this thread. They will have my banking info, certified cheque numbers, delivery numbers etc... I will even send them scans, whatever they want.

Please lock for now and ever - there will be no need to reopen this - unless the buyers want to post there thanks etc...

Alright I think we've actually worked everything out. The checks should be sent out from anthonya in the following few days. Once they're received, I will have this thread locked

There is a thread in Ramblings asking what the funniest thread on AZ is. This one wins hands-down.

Well maybe funny to those who have not been scammed, but to those who have this is a huge roundabout. I see it somewhat funny but I completely understand the situation. I mean I just sold about $500 worth of items in the last week and I made sure packaging was tight and shipped out with insurance!

Thanks. I thought this thread was mentioned in it, but after serious reading and rereading here I finally figured out that Pete1Burn was nominating us for that thread.

There is still nothing funny about this thread unless you consider losing money funny.

And yes, Gamezilla should get an award for starting this thread.

SHIPPING INFO:

Andrew Vaughn - LE054082745CA
Nick Perris - LE054082762CA
Mahmoud Saad - LE054082158CA
Mark Aronov - LE054082144CA
Amar Gala - LE054082759CA
John Melassanos - LE054082161CA

Note: each envelope cost me $14 to send (there is tracking / delivery confirmation) BUT NO INSURANCE - No insurance obviously was not needed as these are certified cheques.

I asked again - and they confirmed with me that parcels can be shipping regular ground mail with no tracking/insurance. The only thing that is different then putting a reg postage stamp on an envelope - is that with a parcel you have to fill out a customs form.

I have more proof now - just a 2 more customs forms, and the fact is that things are tough over here for me - but I also understand that these customers may have not received there items - it is my fault that I did not push to have them fully insured, or even basic with tracking - I should have never lowered the prices/honored the offers that they made and now I am losing huge. No product ever came back, and I just sent out a huge refund from my pocket - so I have nothing to show but a few receipts, customs forms, alot of paper work from the members and these cheques with delivery.

Well I hope everyone is happy - I do hope you are. I was ready to have this go to court as I really feel that with all I have been through and what proof I have (as well as reps from the post office that actually remember me) - that maybe I could have come out not losing as much as I have. However - the buyers should not have to lose as well - plus wait and spend money on legal fees.

Well lets stop this rambling.

Anthony

EVERYONE

Please learn from this. Don't cheap out when buying items here on the forum. Pay the difference to at least insure the full package - if not, just get the bare minimum to ensure that in the worst case - you can get something back.

I would say that yes, I am lucky that I did not have to go through the long process of court and spent money on that that I would never get back. I decided to take money that I may have had to spend on a lawyer, and also took into consideration the time lost from other activities etc... and just refund back as much as possible to make this right for the customers.

I would like to see no other seller from here on in - have to do what I did. Its hard to imagine 1 person having so many issues - but it happens, and from what I have read and heard - this happens plenty with Canada Post. I guess you get what you pay for - even though the cheapest shipping offered is still shipping, and should get to the destination or back to the sender.

Well I do hope that I get back the navigation system complete and the skirt packages - these are high ticket items and maybe someone would still be interested in buying these from me (BUT THEY HAVE TO COVER ALL SHIPPING - FULLY INSURED)

Also - I NEVER wanted to say this - but I really hope the buyers will come through on it. I would really appreciate any money you can send to me in the event that you do receive the items. Now I know I have no way of knowing - but please have the decency to send me back something if anything at all.

Also I would appreciate a letter of thanks from each buyer sent to my PM inbox outlining that we are all good on this and can move on.

Anthony

I dont know about a thanks, but a PM maybe saying that they received their money is sufficient. You are doing what you should be doing.

I didn't mean it was funny that people got scammed. I enjoyed watching Anthony squirm in the hot seat.

That's all. Didn't mean to offend.

Who cares what happened anymore. I spent over 15 hours working with the buyers and Anthony on this and I got it settled outside of a court room and everyone will end up in a better situation then they would've had I not intervened.

I think extra comments are not necessary but this thread should remain open until everyone has received their funds. I think everyone should be happy and just move on.

Thanks everyone who was apart of this for working with me and being able to get this done properly and in a timely fashion.

With that, I'm going to take a nap as it's well deserved.

Nick,

Please note that the spelling on your certified cheque has your last name spelled incorrectly.

I noticed this when taking pics - so I had it fixed at the bank before I shipped them out.

well, just to let you all know, i received my refund today, and I hope the rest of you do as well. i find it ironic that I have yet to receive what i initially purchased, but my refund has arrived on time. therefore this proves that there is nothing wrong with the Canada Post. I am glad that this is finally over.

Thanks again to everyone who was involved in this problem and thank you for all your help..
