I am interested but I am worried about what else it will take to hook up a system. Any idea how hard it is to wire a system into the stock stereo?

if you are just adding a sub you would only need to bring power to the trunk to hook up a little amp, splice into the stock sub wires with a line output converter to get the preamp signal and pickup a remote start from somewhere or just run a switched wire to the trunk. All in all with some reading its actually very easy.

onoz!

That's a great price for a flawless enclosure. If it doesn't sell within the next couple days I may buy it back myself.

Be prepared to meet your maker! Literally!

King, I replied to your pm and will get back to you with volume, the opening size is 9" and a W6 fits in there nice and tight.

illstratagy,

the best speaker for the box really depends on what you listen to. That amp you have should be more than enough to drive a W6. I suggest taking a look through Uncald4's thread in the sponsored sale forum to help decide which woofer would be best for you.

and as for removing the Type-S Badge, you could....but it is actually set into the enclosure

The enclosure was built @ .625 cu/ft and would fit JL Audio 10W3/W6 perfectly. However, there are many other 10" subs that would fit.

Thanks for the microwave shot Marc. You're going to have to find another trophy hold it down now.

What is the enclosure covered with? Is that a seam on the bottom?

its wrapped in Vinyl, and yes that is a seam on the bottom...but you will never see that when the woofer is installed and its mounted in the car.

I would jump on this but my sub is a 9.5 inch opening and needs a .4 cubic foot enclosure. Not too worried about volume since I can compsenate for this but the opening size is small.
