Very interested in the BA RM9's. Just a couple quick questions. Will you include the spacers? Does it take a lot of finagling to get them to fit? I had Kicker K693's and no way would they fit. The Kickers had a lot of tweeter protrusion. Did you have to trim the plastic on the grills?

Sorry for all the questions, but I want to be sure because I already have one set of 6x9s sitting in the basement, i don't need two.

p.s. I hate those trunk bars.

 

It takes a little time getting them in due to the large magnet. I will include the spacer if I used one...I don't remember if I did or not. The tweeter doesn't stick out that much, so I don't think you'll have that problem. I did not need to trim the grills at all and I have the grills that came with the RM9s also.

what wiring do you need? all I have is the Monster RCAs

 

their decent RCA's i take it. I just need some good RCA's to run from my Nakamichi HU to my McIntosh 4 channel amp which will be running my utopia's (do we have similar taste in systems). how did you like the utopia's, did you have them in kicks? I could use more wiring but if you just have the RCA's that's ok.

Yes, we do have similar tastes in sound. The utopias are great, TN51s are so clear especially on the mcintosh. i tried kicks at one point, but the sound imaging didn't out-way the look.
