SOLD! Unorthodox Ultra Sc 12 Volt Crank Polished Pulley

FOR SALE - Ultra Sc 12 Volt Crank Polished Pulley (Part #020611012) goes for $210 Shipped normally on this site, $175 for you...

OK here's the scoop... This was purchased from Excelerate (an official vendor here) I bought a stock size crank pulley and always meant to put it in, but I no longer have the TL so what can I do with this brand new, shinny, cheap method to increase (release) horse power to the TL or CL? Sell it to you of course!!

IT FITS:

Acura CL V6 (Incl. Type S) (01-03) & Acura TL V6 (99-03)

Acura CL 3.0L SOHC (97-99) Honda Accord V6 (98-02)

From Excelerate: The Ultra S crank pulley is a lightweight underdrive crank pulley. It underdrives the accessories 10-20% and requires new belts. The Ultra Sc crank pulley is a lightweight stock size crank pulley, which means that it does not underdrive the accessories and does not require a new belt. If you have a large stereo system (over 600 watts RMS) you will want the Ultra Sc crank pulley. If not, you will want the Ultra S pulley. Average gains are about 7-8 HP. The Ultra Sc will make maybe 1 less hp than the Ultra S pulley.

Here is a picture

Is there an actual dyno graph showing results or is it a "take your word for it" type of upgrade?

As far as I know there are two kinds made by unorthodox if i remember correctly... mine is the stock size (sc) so you don't need new belts, it frees up hp used to power the much heavier stock pulley. it makes powering an aftermarket stereo easier on your system (no pulsing of headlights with base, etc...) The other pulley is smaller requires a new belt and frees up one or twp more hp, without the benefits for running powerful aftermarket electronics...

I am not making up the stats... those are comments from the boards here as well as the explanations of the official vendor on this site. There really are only a few things you can do to increase the horsepower of these cars, and this is one of them.... ask around, do a search and read up on it a bit, its the real deal...

sorry for the confusion

if you read it again, it says the sc does NOT underdrive, the description is taken directly from Excelerates thread!

I give descriptions of both kinds, the sc and the s so that people understand the difference, the title clearly says that i am selling the sc... I hope that makes it a little more clear

If you get a lighter pulley with stock dimensions you will free up more hp without you worrying about messing up how the car runs. Remember that if you run UD pulleys you have to get new belts plus like someone said, your going to see dimming of lights, etc. In other words....buy stock size, lightened pulleys...that way you dont have to worry about damage to the motor in the long run. I know since I had a full set for my Protege. So if this is stock, someone on the second gen jump on it.

I think he's talking about the headlights dimming when a higher powered sound system is playing. the light weight pulley does help with that because it frees up hp to the car which is used elsewhere, like properly distributing power to the headlights...
