Sorry, I don’t have the original wheels.
But I’m sure we could work something out if we find something else to put on there.
Let me know ASAP because the car could be gone or parted out soon.

Yes it’s been driven in the winter.
But I always try to wash it as soon as possible after it’s gotten a salt bath.

Yes, there’s some rust down below, but nothing on the body.
It’s mostly just suspension and exhaust bolts and such.
Most cars probably get this way if they’re regularly driven in the rain.

Original cost of the Rims was 2,400 bucks
Toyo’s were installed April 2004 and still have about 50% tread left.
They cost about 650.

Initial asking price will probably be 1,500 (plus shipping if reqd)

This thread is about selling the entire car, not individual parts just yet.
People have been sending PM’s like crazy looking for parts, but I haven’t even set the prices yet.

If/when that day comes I’ll go back and look at who asked for what first and give them an opportunity to buy.
If I work out a deal with those people then I’ll sell to them.
If not, I’ll be posting a new thread in about a week or two with parts and prices.

Please be patient.

People, please read what Shawn has said over and over again. This thread is for the CAR ONLY.

If you're interested in parts, you can PM him so he can add you to the list if he decides to part out the car... but for now, only reply in this topic if you want the car itself...

Time for a bump.
Only three days left to find out if she sells intact.
If not, the car gets ripped apart and the Blue Blinger becomes only a distant memory.

I thought you were just gonna keep it if it didn't sell? Guess I missed something along the way

No, I changed my mind.
I think it’s too nice for a winter and bad weather vehicle.
Gonna get a beater for those duties and then something new & hot come springtime.

If I do keep it, I’ll still probably still be taking most of the mods off to sell them.
What’s the point of shiny chrome rims if I’m only ever driving it in the rain/snow?

I just looked-not a single person has bid on this car yet. If there was ever a car ripe for the used market, this is it. Freakin' depressing.

I’m not worried…….YET.

That’s typical in auctions like this.
Nobody wants to show their hand until the final minutes/seconds of the auction.
There are over 1,100 page views, 47 people who have the auction on their “watch list” and I’ve fielded at least 25-30 questions from potential bidders.
Hopefully they’re all waiting to try and “snipe” each other tomorrow night.

I also have someone local looking at the car Saturday afternoon.

The best offer I have so far is 21,500 from someone wanting to end the auction early.
I didn’t take it because I’m hoping it goes higher then that.

Of course someone might “steal it” for 21,000 if it only gets one bid.
But that’s about where I’ll be if I trade the unmodified car in and sell the mods to you guys.
That’s how I came up with that opening number.

YUP…. Would have liked a bit more of course, but the numbers fit into my plans quite well.
If I would have traded the car or sold it stock for 18 or 19 and sold the mods, I still would have wound up in the 21-22 range plus had the hassle of removing and selling parts.

Will do for sure.
Maybe he already is.

I guess I’ll toss a bottle of Z2 and Z6 in the trunk as a welcome gift.
