SOLD! FS: Spoon Strut Tower Bar - TSX

Since it needed to be removed to do some work on my car, and I dont feel like reinstalling it, I've decided to sell my Spoon strut tower bar. Its in pretty good shape, with a few scratches, but nothing that a good polisher couldnt get out.

$150 shipped...FIRM...

Oh, and if you "Dib" this, you better be ready to pay immediately when I request it. I've seen far too many threads were people "Dib" items and then take a week to make the payment. Ain't happening here.

Good luck!

Hmmm, good question. I thought I had taken a few after I got it installed, but I can't remember now. I'll have to do some digging...

Ok, no guarantees though. I could have sworn I took pics of it, but I can't seem to find them...

The way it fits is the bar is below the top rear of the engine. So if you looked at it straight on, you wouldnt see the bar, only the brackets. From the sides its clearly visible.

^ You can use Spoon strut bar in addition to stock strut bar.
e.g : Cusco strut bar is similar to Spoon's. You can still use stock strut bar.

No there isn't. The Spoon fits very well, the Cusco is a close second (the AC line can be bent a bit), and teh J's Racing one doesn't fit well.

Actually, there is. The passenger side bracket needs to be muscled in to clear the AC lines.

Oh but what I really meant was, would there be any benefits to this? Since there are two, one must not be doing any work right?

Well, once you installed the Spoon or Cusco or J's Racing.. the stock one probably becomes useless, but the stock strut bar is connected to shit load of different components in the engine bay it's gonna be an ass to remove it, and possibly the stock bar is keeping the other components in place.

That's cool, I'll just keep bumping. This is a somewhat rare part and I think the price is more then fair.

Considering shipping for this item would be about $20, if someone wants to pick it up for $130, then let me know...
