SOLD! FS: Navigation Wireing Pigtails 3 in all
I bought a set of plugs/pigtails for use on my 2g tl navi conversion because the yard i bought the dvd unit from said it wasn't going to come with plugs. Well when i received the dvd unit from the yard it not only came with plugs but with the dvd as well. So now i have a 2nd set of plugs.
I don't have pics right now but will get them up tonight after work. These plugs will fit the following models and years:
1999-2003 Acura TL or RL
2001-2003 Acura CL
2001-2002 Acura MDX
2000-2004 Honda Odyssey
2003-2005 Honda Pilot
These plugs where from an 02 MDX dvd unit originally. I know for a fact they will be a direct replacement for the 01-02 MDX and the 99 TL/RL .
Also if you have an aftermarket headunit or are bypassing your factory amp then these plugs will be a direct replacement also for any and all vechicles listed above. The only difference, at least for the tl's is 00-03 has an amp turn on signal coming out of the dvd unit its pin 8 in the 12 pin connector labeled (AMP SW B+) that goes to the factory amplifier unit and the headunit. Since i have a full aftermarket stereo this didn't matter to me since my amps are on regardless, i'm not totaly sure if this wire is even that nescessary for the factory units as i'm not 100% sure what it would be doing for you, since the MUTE wire is still there and used and that is what mutes your front speakers to allow the voice guidence to come though. But if your radio is already on, so is your amp so again not 100% sure about that 1 wire, but i just wanted to make sure i listed this as acurratly as i can.
If anyone has any insight on what i'm talking about and can provided some feedback feel free to chime into this FS thread.

All three are for the DVD Drive.
The 4th connector in the back of the dvd drive is for the gps antenna. ANy gps antenna new or used has its connector on it already to plug into the back of the dvd drive.
Also to note, after thinking and reading the circuit diagrams again,pin 8 in the 12 pin connector that i mention in the first post labeled (AMP SW B+)isn't nessecary, all it would do is trigger the subwoofer amp either on/off, since that is the only amp in the car and SW stands for subwooffer. The mute pin is the one u really need and that is included on the pigtail to tel the factory headunit to mute your front speakers and let the navi voice prompts come over.
