SOLD! FS: Maven Mark One Shift Knob- Exclusively Made for Honda/Acura, CL/TL/TSX/RSX
The Maven Mark One shift knob was designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. The weight, material, shape and texture were all optimized to deliver the finest and most precise shifting action of any knob on the market. $65 Shipped.
I had purchased this shift knob because it is the most incredible shift know out there for Acuras/Hondas. This thing is 100% stainless steel and you can really feel how much it weights. My friend has one in his TSX and I wanted to put it on my auto CL-S with a shift boot however it only work will work with Manual transmission shifters. So sorry to all my fellow slush box peeps. PM me with any questions.
Specifications
* Weight - Precision balanced to 472g (1.04lbs). The mass is concentrated at the top of the knob to maximize the pendulum effect while changing gears.
* Material - 100% solid medical-grade stainless steel. This alloy will not tarnish or leave a metallic smell on your hands like other knobs. It's surface hardness is much higher than aluminum to resist scratching.
* Shape - Over 30 revisions were made before the final shape was realized. The contoured shape fits snugly in the palm of your hand. The overall height has been reduced to shorten the shift throw.
* Texture - Spun finish controlled to within 64 micro inches (less than 0.000064"). Please see some of the enlarged shots at http://www.mavenmotorsports.com/gallery.htm.
* Fitment - The Maven Mark One uses a machine-cut thread to ensure a 100% OEM fitment. The standard M10 (10mm x 1.5mm) thread will fit a variety of manual transmission cars.
Vehicle Compatibility Table
The following models have been tested and confirmed to work with the Maven Mark One. Some models may require minor modifications to the shift boot assembly.

Not just a bump...
OK, well, not to clutter the thread, but if anyone has a TSX 6MT and is considering this knob, stop thinking about it and DO it. I've bought custom knobs for every car I've ever had (titanium, aluminum, SS, carbonfibre), and am usually a little bit disappointed...only the Rob Knob II (for my MINI Cooper S) and this knob have satisfied. It feels fantastic, fits the hand perfectly, installs incredibly easily (though you have to forego use of the locking nut if you want it to be really snug down to the boot) and it looks fantastic. Even better, the weight of the knob really does smooth out that tiny bit of notchy-ness that our shifters have...twirling through the gates is even MORE fun with this baby (the shifter just glides, and it seems to just flow right to the slot you want, whether up or down the box).
I'm not a shill, just a really satisfied customer!
Oh, one note...you'll want to pull up the shifter boot (the whole console top) and put a zip-tie right at the top of its range with the knob on to get that nice line like in the photo above...otherwise the top of the boot will slip down about a quarter inch all the time...it's just for looks, but still...).
Os.

No burning (or freezing) when you wear driving gloves!
(side benefit is a better grip on the steering wheel)
Autosport carries a nice pair of stringbacks, though Dents in the UK has the best (and priciest) stringbacks.
