SOLD! FS: Comptech Supercharger w/ HBP for 2003 Acura CL-S 6MT

I am putting up for sale my Comptech Supercharger with High Boost Pulley (5.5 psi) that was used for 20,000 miles. The oil was changed and the charger was resealed about a month very recently after deinstallation, so it has fresh GM supercharger oil. The kit comes with everything you will need for a 2003 CL-S 6MT, with an ADDITIONAL recently purchased Optima 51R battery. The only thing you will need are the IK22 spark plugs.

I bought the kit from another member on here, but never got a chance to put it on my car. I am selling it because I am having too many problems N/A already and I would rather spend the money to get my car fixed before I go F/I.

I am located in San Diego or Huntington Beach, for locals and I can ship it out to you at your cost + paypal fees.

I will post pictures of the kit tomorrow. It is sad to see it go, but it needs to be done. If you guys in San Diego want to come take a look I am in the Scripps Ranch area.

The first $2550+shipping+paypal fees takes it!

I need to fix my car, I keep getting a CEL for running rich, I am replacing an o2 sensor, catalytic converter, and a new MAP sensor. I really don't wanna supercharge my car unless it's in perfect condition, so I need the funds to do all this. And I am not really interested in any trades. Sorry.

Please List all parts that this Kit Includes.
What is missing from the kit, except spark plugs?
Also how much would you subtract from your price for excluding the battery since shipping a battery won't be worth it.
Why was the charger oiled if it only has 20,000 miles on it?
How long has the charger been in storage?
Who was the member you bought it from.

I was the one who sold it to him. I didn't give him my old spark plugs because you should never use used plugs.

I actually had the oil changed twice. It was changed again because I thought the oil being spilled was from the charger when it was actually engine oil when my motor blew.

Everything's there but the ESM is set for a 6 speed CLS so you'll have to change the voltage if you are automatic and you'll have to buy a different elbow as well if you're auto.

BTW, sorry to see you never got to enjoy the mod. And this is very reasonably priced as this is a complete kit, not missing several hundred dollars worth of parts.

PM'ed, from a different name.

So all that's needed is IK22 spark plugs?

When I banned M.J.H. from the Black Market, but allowed him to remain in the other forums, I didn't intend for him to register under a new user name so he could access the Black Market.

So now you are both permanently banned from Acurazine.

Check the PM I sent to M.J.H. on 10/17/07 where I said:
If you register under a new user name, both names will be banned permanently from all Acurazine Forums.

I see from the profile that srehmat02 was sending a PM to M.J.H. at 11:47AM, which further verifies what I knew to be correct, that Davey Boy is actually M.J.H., so be warned that M.J.H. was banned from the Black Market for scamming on a grille in this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/closed-fs-2003-satin-silver-cl-s-oem-grill-364532/

I know this time he is buying and not selling, but if you can still contact him you need to be careful.

Thanks, for the response Jason, yeah it sucks to see it go, but then again I would rather have my car run properly, before I boost it. All you will need is a set of new plugs, and I'm only going to take off $50 for the battery, it's more like a throw it in to make a deal kind of item.

I will have pictures of the kit by tonight. I am firm with this price guys.

I know my question may be off base. But are you willing to sell me the High Boost Pulley?

If so, send me a PM.

Thanks.

Way late like you selling me your mufflers then relisting them and then telling me that you're only going to sell them to somoene that's going to buy your supercharger? Beware of this slacker.

I give priority to local buyers.. in the case of the guy who wants to buy my kit and mufflers.. I would rather not ship if I don't have to.

So maybe then you should state that instead of making people that need it shipped wait around for weeks upon weeks without telling them you don't want to ship it.

No pods, but I did add a Autometer manual fuel pressure gauge.

The kit is located in H.B., youre welcome to come check it out this weekend anytime.

Original owner was JBlueCLS6.

I never installed kit, my stupid CEL is never ending, so F/I would probably make it much worse.

is it necessary to tune with emanange because of the hbp or is it just done to get more power?

Tuning will yield power gains, but it is more about having your car run safely with a proper A/F ratio, better for engine longevity. You can run untuned w/ HBP with the IMRC unplugged, theres people on the forums running that way.

Ok that's what I thought about tuning it. Not required but recommeded to avoid later problems. So in addition to new plugs I should get e manage and boomslang? What about the gauges to moniter a/f and fuel pressure? How bout the gauges inside to moniter a/f and fuel pressure? Anything else? Obviously I've never done this before and I want to make sure I know what other parts I should have and an idea of how much more $$ it will cost on top of the s/c.

You could get an electronic fuel pressure gauge in the cabin, but I already have a manual one that I added to the kit. Wideband oxygen sensor isn't 100% necessary, if you get it tuned, they will get you a good air/fuel mixture that is safe. You should get some form for fuel management, most people use E-Manage Blue. The Boomslang Harness isn't necessary, just makes your E-Manage plug and play, no wiring difficulties.
