How's the installation of the wheel / hub? Can it be DIY'ed or is it something a shop must do?
Highly interested

it's very easy to do. If you live in socal i can help you install it. Doesn't take longer than 1 hr unless you want to wire the horn...

Wait.. what's the difference between the hub / quick release? I thought they are technically integrated? I was checking out Ebay and it just seemed like it and prices are.. pretty much the same over there or lower. Undibbed. Sorry for double post!

The hub is used to mount your steering wheel directly onto the steering column and you have to remove the allen bolts to take out the steering wheel.
The QR is used in conjunction with the hub to allow you easily remove the steering wheel without unbolting anything. great when you have bucket seat (more space to get in/out the car) and also a security measure if you take your steering wheel with you into the house at night.
I don't know what you searched for on ebay but i just did it and the ebay prices are only 5 cents more than the asking price, lol... Proof: http://search.ebay.com/search/search...&fsop=1&fsoo=1
Also, this is the QR:
this is the Short Hub:
The short hub is much more expensive than the regular version.
Thanks for looking anyways.
