escort sucks compared to the valentine one. You don't get as good of pick up of signals or direction of radar or laser. Ask anyone Valentine 1 One are the best of all windshield mountable radars.

i wouldn't say it sucks....it's still a very reputable and very well made radar detector. I'm sure the pick up strength is of minimal difference. However, w/ the V1, you do get the directional signals. (I find this to be the most important...)

very good point. But when it comes to not getting caught for speeding its a no brainer.... You must get the best.
