SOLD! FS: ATI HDTV Wonder TV Tuner card - 1 left - Price dropped 12/9/06 $60 shipped
I have 2 ATI HDTV Wonder cards for sale. One is brand new in box, never opened. I will let the brand new one go for $75 OBO and I also have one that I opened up and installed for about 20 min but I cant get HDTV signal due to the fact that I go to college in the middle of Kansas and there are no channels here so my loss is your gain. I will let the second one go for $70 OBO. Bought these 2 for me and my roommate but like I said they don't work in Manhattan so they must go. These prices do not include shipping, send me an email at joshrsmith2411@earthlink.net with your zip code and I will let you know how much shipping is. You can find all the info on them here http://ati.amd.com/products/hdtvwonder/index.html

no tv tuners, you can have TV on your PC and with these you can receive free air to air HDTV broadcasts. This is not a video card they just enable you to watch TV cable on your computer. See the web site for exact details.

I guess I should mention from questions by PM that these are for the PCI slot on a desktop. Will not work with a laptop. Sorry!

How big is the antennae? Quality of reception? Do you need a certain program on you computer? I dont see how having a computer and having a hdtv card can give you tv reception. Sorry i just never heard of this, but i am interested in it!

Thats a pic of the antenna. quality of reception is just like air boradcast HDTV whatever that is(Im not sure if its 480, 720 or 1080) its just like a tv tuner for a computer it will get all the regular cable channels that you subscribe to and then the HDTV through the air. you plug your cable into it and get TV on your computer screen. It comes with all software you need in the box, it is brand new.

I cant find anywhere on the net which gives the size of it but from guessing on the one i sold that was out of the box I would say that its like 14in long and about 8-9 in wide... dont hold me exactly to that cause like I said im guessing but that should be a pretty good guess. I found on an ebay auction that the box is 24"x18"x12 so it cant be too big. any more ?'s let me know.
