SOLD! FS: 3G TL WDP OEM "Deck Lid" Lip Spoiler...

THIS IS NOT A TYPE-S LIP SPOILER...

Finally got around to pulling this lip spoiler off to install the Type-S spoiler.
It's in excellent condition, no signs of wear and tear. It was on the car for only about 8 months.

Comes with all hardware.

All you need to install is new 3M tape to install.

$150 delivered.

Just a question. I see that the factory decklid spoiler comes with 2 studs to be mounted through the trunk along with the adhesive. The factory kit also has a new spring.
Have the studs been broken off, and I assume no new spring to hold open the trunk?

Nope, studs still attached, they have the nuts screwed on them in the picture... sorry it's so unclear (crappy cellpohone pics). You just need new 3M tape.

The shop wouldn't install the spring, said they needed a special tool which they didn't have. They gave it back to me. After a month, the trunk still opened properly... I threw it away. I've since added about 5 lbs of dynamat to the rear trunk lid, trunk still opens properly... You don't need the spring.

If you're really worried about it, you can get the TL-S trunk spring for about $14.

Correction...
The trunk spring is $6 if you decide you need it.

From a 2007 TL-S, which is a heavier lip spoiler.

Absolutely nothing... The 2007 TL Type-S comes with a different lip spoiler than the "accessory" lip. It's a little fatter and more pronounced. I removed the accessory lip to install the fatter type-s lip.

I don't know for sure, but I think it does based on the template... but don't hold me to it.
