SOLD! FS: 19x8.5 Volk SF-Challenge
I have for sale a set of 19x8.5 Volk SF-Challenge (non-staggered). I've listed the specifics below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
My asking price is set at only $1,100 FIRM and Non-negotiable.
Seeing that there are curb rashes on the lips of all four wheels, I'm cutting my asking price down drastically from what I had originally paid when new. The wheels cost me over $2,800 new and the tires ran me over $760 after mounting and balancing. Overall this setup cost me well over $3,500 and that doesn't take into account the almost 3 months wait I had to endure for delivery of these wheels.
I think this is a very competitive deal and very arguably a bargain. I would be more than content to keep these wheels than to sell it for any less. I am only selling it because I have a new set of wheels on ordered and the stock A-Specs in the garage. I really don't need 3 sets at one time.
I am in Irvine-CA and would prefer to deal with those who can pick-up or are in driving distance for me to delivery.
I will post up pictures tonight when get home. Thanks for looking.

FYI - If you haven't already guess, these wheels were ordered and mounted on a 3rd GEN. Acura TL. I had an automatic, but I know they'll clear the 6MT brembos and a BBK after market setup. I specifically order these wheels with the intention on upgrading to a BBK system in the future.
And like I said, I'll post pics later tonight. Please be patient.

Call Truwheel.com in North Hollywood. They are recommended by Mackin.
I once called them about the curb rash on my GT-V and they quoted me $125 (per wheel). They will take off the face, strip down the anodized finish and repair the rash. They can't re-anodize or clear coat the lip, so you will need to polish the lips with Mothers or similar once every 2 months or so to keep them shiny.

Pictures taken this afternoon
Some pics as promised. I poured water and wipe down with Klasse Polish on wheels no. 1 & 2. That should offer a better idea of wheels present condition. Let me know if there are any questions.

IMPORTANT: I forgot to mention that I am NOT including the tuner lugs with this setup. I need them for my current setup.
Also. members have been asking me about my willingness to ship the wheels and sell them to non-local buyers. Well, I've decided to meet this accommodation.
My asking price is $1,100 local pick-up or $1,300 shipped to anywhere in the U.S.
Also, if you elect to pay with paypal I must insist that I be compensated for the supplemental seller's charge of 3%.

Last time I checked, Wheels America of Santa Fe Springs-CA charged $129 per wheel as their flat fee. I also know that SoCAL Wheel/Tint of Cerritos-CA charges a more competive rate of $115 per wheel - again a flat fee. If you went with one of these guys, I would assume that that it would cost you around $500 for the set. According to 260HP, Truwheel.com of North Hollywood-CA will do it for around $125 per wheel and they're advocated by Mackin Ind. It seems like there is a fair consensus in wheel repair fees in the low $100's.
My friend had curb rashes removed from his OEM wheels for a mere $45/wheel. But his wheels were of alum alloy and didn't have a polish lip to it. I think the process may be less expensive and time consuming to clean up his wheels than these volks.
Your guess is as good as mine. I didn't want to go through the hassle of repairing it and then posting it up for sale. I've priced this setup with the cost of repairing the curb rashes in mind. Thanks for the interest.

Just looking at the pictures I'm sure I will pick them up from you! I will bring cash with me on Saturday. Have the wheels had any repair done or anything? Also can 2 or 3 of them fit in the trunk? I might want to pick them up Sunday on my way back to SD, so I don't have to run around with them all weekend.....is that cool? I can give a deposit of sorts to hold for a day.

Only one wheel will fit in the trunk of the car - unless some how your trunk is bigger than mines. You'll have to probably put one in the trunk, two in the back seat and a fourth up front in the passenger seat. You can squeeze in 3 of the wheels in the back seat, but there might be a little view obstruction; that's what I ended up doing. If you want to put two wheels in the trunk you'll have to leave the trunk hood open and tie it down. Because these wheels are already mounted with tires, getting them to fit in the car is not an easy chore.

That is a great deal. that curb rash is pretty easy to fix. if you are a person who knows how to massage metal. ive fixed a lot worse. if you know how to refinish metal that is a really easy fix. i wish i could pick them up.
id say $120 per wheel to fix is about the average for a 19 in wheel. when i had my racing harts refinished that was about how much i paid to have them refinish all the curbs and get some bends out.
free bump for you man good luck on the sale which i dont think youll need

That's my price and its firm. $1,300 won't sway me to sell it to you now and tarnish any agreements that have with the other interested parties before you.
