SOLD! FS: 01-03 CL-S Upper/Lower Intake Manifold Ported/Polished

I have for sale both the upper and lower intake manifolds for an 01-03 CL-S/TL-S. Both were professionally ported and polished. Missing IMRC Plates, but you can easily swap in your actuator assembly. But I will include the plates as well you just need to get screws for them.

$550 + s/h

i can get pictures but it will take a few days, i work 24/7. most of the guys know me on this forum and can vouch, i'm 100% legit on every product i sell, but none the less, pictures help sales.

p.s. thats 1 reason for such the high price, it is very difficult to source JUST the manifolds out short of buying them new. 2nd reason is that this is a $400 professional port job done by hand by a honda tuner.

Don't get me wrong...the pictures had nothing to do with your rep...I've seen you around, I just need to know what little parts I would need since I am doing a swap to a 99TL (gaskets, nuts, bolts, etc.)

Pretty sure I would leave the plates off though since it supposedly helps with the low end torque, and the fact that I am turbo helps with higher rpm power.

interesting so these are port/polished by hand and not extrude honed?

By the way are you still working on the custom camshafts?

actually the uppers were professional hand ported. the lowers ARE extrude honed PLUS hand ported.

yes, cams are being worked on.

delete the VSA throttle body, and mate the manifolds with a bored throttle body, i feel the gains are a solid 10whp/tq at the minimum. i tend to think its a bit higher but others will disagree.

lower manifolds can be a trick to say the least, but i know a bunch of people have done them with regular hand tools.

it will take a lot more than this to make it a type s, the type s has a higher redline and higher compression.

I'm in the process, of a Type-S 3.5 conversion...trust me, it takes a lot of money and planning.

Bummer...I'd take it off your hands...lol...I've dumped a lot of money on other parts right now....

bump, keep this up at the top for a good seller.

IMHO the best use for this would be for someone doing forced induction. You will see some gains, but they will be exponentially better with FI. Personally, I hope these find a home with FI just to see the difference

I wonder what kinda gains I'd get off this with my charger?

I also noticed you had the outlaw spacers on there. I'm still using the one for the manifold. Are the spacers wide enough to pair with the manifold? Or did you open up the spacers a bit as well?

i have 2 sets, this was my original set on the car, but i sent a second set out for extrude honing. i had both the upper/lower done, but i felt since my lowers were already hand done, there wasnt much left that extrude hone could do so i just swapped the upper manifolds.

i know the price is steep, but you can sell your stock manifolds when you do the swap. just PM me, i'm flexible on the price.

FYI...stock type s manifolds should go for about $250-300 (both upper and lowers..)so in essence $250ish to have this mod sounds like a pretty decent price IMO....

yup, you can turn around and sell your stock manifolds for at least 200 in your pocket, making this only costing you around 300 in reality since i will work on the price ;]

it should fit an 03 TL-S, it's the same motor. gains... not sure around 10 probably if you still have your VSA throttle body.

this is just what I am looking for and what i was planning on doing all in one. But I dont know too much about the CLS monifold. whats the difference between the upper and lower manifold? and about how much power does the lower manifold give that together wit ur upper. Just asking to see if for what I want should I just wait for a whole manifold and get it ported or just buy ur upper.

IMO if you are not HIGHLY modified, the lowers don't need to be touched, the most important part is the upper manifold w/ the inlet ported and a bored throttle body.

interesting, define HIGHLY modified on our cars since after a few bolt ons FI is all we can really do, lol.

If I was to get this upper intake from you, where do you think the gain will be in my power band? bottem end or top end?

highly modified would mean anyone looking to squeeze every HP they can out of the car, this mod should be mated w/ a bored TB which most people do not have on their cars. gain would be across the board.

you need the actual IMRC flap that goes inside the manifold itself, not just the actuator.
