correct me if Im wrong, but all the songs will get erased once the new user hooks the ipod onto a different computer to get updated by a different itunes playlist...

unless the songs are dropped into the ipod via "hard drive mode" the new user will have to erase them when they want to update it... right?

 

There's two ways around that issue. One being a program called PodUtil and the second being you set iTunes to manage music manually and then manually update the ipod, never "re-sync" which will wipe everything but if you've backed everything up with PodUtil you just put it back via iTunes and never have to worry about this again. NO! That one was pretty beat up. I had bought that one used from a forum member for my daughter but she wanted to stick with her Nano. This is my personal iPod in absolute MINT condition. Thanks.
