SOLD! F/S Bridgestone Blizzack WS50 Snows on 2003 CL-S 17" Stock RIMS
Set of Bridgestone Blizzack WS 50 (stock size) on 2003 CL-S 17" stock RIMs. Tires used one season with only 4000 miles wear. RIMS in excellent condition, look like new (one has a small outer rim scuff)...$550.

The RIM are 17x7" marked with "JII", if that helps. The tires are the stock 03 CL/TL Type S size of P215x50x17. I think the stock 05 TL size is P235x45x17. Which is basically a size up from P215x50x17. Which is what I had done for my standard tires for the 2003 CL-S. Acura just admitted that the a better performance/cost mix was to give more rubber (contact patch), so for the 2004 model change they went from the 215x50's to the 235x45 and stuck with the 17" RIMS. This maintained the original overall wheel/tire diameter. If you look at Tirerack they recommend for snows to down size (reduce width to reduce how much the tires need to plow through). I don't like that because I think less contact patch can affect braking/handling and in winter I still want dry road control. I stayed with stock size for the winter, but one up for other seasons. If you put these on a 05 TL you will have down sized one from stock, which is what some recommend for snows tires.

Stock wheels are 17", 5 bolt, 114.3 spacing.

I appreciate the detail on the tire width and downsizing. I am ok with that. My question is does anyone know if the Rims from the 03 CLS will clear the Brembo Calipers on the 05 TL 6-Speed.
