Hey guys,
My mom purchased a satelite system from Best Buy and it was installed for free. The card that goes inside the reciver is missing. It is a Direct TV plus system. Any body know where I can get this card or get it programed please email me at massive34@yahoo.com thanx

because of the hig volume of stolen direct tv and the market for reprograming cards.....direct tv has stop supplying cards with their systems...only way to get a car is to subscribe with them and they will send you a programed card...

What he said. But even if you get service the cards can still be programmed, and when there is a "hit" sent out your card wont be "hit" because it is legit. All you have to do is "fill" the card with money for the PPVS when you waste the $600 limit. I don't do this, but i read about it online.

When did they start doing this? Just curious, as I bought a Directv system (RCA) from BB back in December '01 and it came with the card...

I think you'd better just buy another system from Direct TV. The card alone is expensive. Trust me, i work for Bell ExpressVu, a satellite company that uses the same equipment supplier as Direct TV, and when something is missing and not under waranty anymore, the price to pay is very high. Just to give you an exemple, a system here is 199$. You have 100$ of free programming. So, basically, the system just cost you 99$. The card alone will cost you 50$.

A good 'H" card will cost u more than that!! (4-5 times that)

the good h card (not affect by black sunday are worht like up to 300-400 bucks.....but i must agree emulations is the BEST!!!
