The reason for the wait is because I will not have the time to properly and carfefully uninstall the unit until the last week of August. Personally, I don't want to rush the process and then sell it off with a missing or broken part. Doing so is bad professional business, and will cause me more headaches later on than it is worth.

A message to all my potential buyers:
If the wait until the end of August is too long for your convenience, please retract your offers. You can always re-instate them at a later point in time, if you so choose.

damn.. you're all nuts to be bidding on a car forum. I'm actually surprised they let this stay open. You should have just set a price and sold it to the first one for that price.

Anyway, at this point you may as well shell out another $100-$200 and get a brand new one....

You opinions are correct. For about 400-500 more, you can purchase a new system. The advantage to buying this particular unit is that it offers a near-perfect unit with wiring that is already mapped and prepared for direct installation into our cars. In effect, you save some money and some trouble.
