RonJon Inspyre 19"x8.5" with tires. Just refinished
Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $1300
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): OH
Item Condition: Used
Also, I don't want to hear it about the price. It is only that high because we HAVE to list a price. Make me an offer. It is OBO.
These are use RonJon Inspyre 19" x 8.5" with a +42 offset refinished wheels with tires and lug nuts. Two tires are partially used, two tires are brand new with zero miles (still have the stickers on them). I will detail the tire specs below.
First, I love these wheels. As most of you on this forum know, they are awesome.
I won't even go into the saga I've had with these wheels but the short story is that I cleaned and stacked these wheels for the winter because no one told me that I should do anything differently. But what I am guessing happened was that some of the water on the top wheel ran across missed dirt behind the surface on the inner wheel area and dripped to the wheel below. It corroded and the wheels had to be refinished.
They are no longer machined on the face and no longer as susceptible to having the problem again. I just picked up these refinished wheels today and they haven't even been mounted yet. Zero miles with the new paint.
The tires are 19" Kuhmo Ecsta SPT 245/35/ZR19. These grip exceedingly well!
The two brand new tires measure 9/32 at the center and 8/32 toward the sides.
One used tire measures at 8/32 in the center, 7/32 toward the sides.
The other used tire measures at 7.5/32 in the center, just shy of 7/32 toward the sides.
Here are pictures:
The RonJon center cap still has the plastic covering it. Can slightly see the only blemish.
If you crop and zoom in, you can see the blemish more, but otherwise it doesn't really stand out.
See it, right there on the very corner, just barely.
Let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures. That one little painted over blemish is the only item on any wheel. Otherwise perfect.
Price them out and compare. Make me an offer!

Well, it looks like maybe these are going back on my car because of a lack of interest. The look WAY better than stock anyway. I'm guessing if there is no interest by this weekend, I'll be putting them back on my TL.
Let me know if anyone has interest. I actually have a fifth wheel that is still machined from RonJon, but I hit a pothole and haven't had it repaired yet. Not cosmetic damage, but you can feel it when driving. I can get it repaired and resurfaced, same as these, and throw it in if anyone wants it.
So, 5 wheels, 4 tires. Any interest?

ryan-pyite, wheels were done locally by Wheel Doctor who are pretty well known for their quality work in this market. I've used them for other jobs in the past. I didn't even ask about a warranty on paint because I just assumed there wouldn't be one. I'll call them in the morning to check.
My guess is they have a workmanship warranty like everyone else. That's all you get with RonJon so I'm sure, at most, that's what wheel doctor offers.
I believe on previous wheels they have actually repaired for me, not just painted, they had a 1yr warranty.

I called Wheel Doctor this morning and they said they have a 1yr no questions asked warranty for workmanship and paint failure. It does not cover paint chips caused from use, but that's expected. They said even beyond a year that they will probably take care of it after inspection if it is paint failure or related to their work.

cool thanks for checking,
just curious why you want to get rid of them with all the money you put in? your price seems pretty fair so i am trying to hold back from being the lowballa that i am.

Ha! Really, I love the wheels and unless someone offers me a decent number (especially if they need shipped), they are going back on my car in a few days when I change my rotors. Just seemed like now was the time to sell them since people usually want them when they are in near perfect condition.

@Zookie: What's the latest on these wheels? I've been looking all over for them. Have you mounted them yet? Also, what is the finish? I'm especially interested in the liquid graphite.

Have not mounted them. Got all into professional type detailing my paint with the different cutting pads, polishes, etc etc. This stuff takes forever but man does the paint look good when its done. Eliminated every swirl and imperfection (other than pure chips). Still not done though.
Anyway, since I didn't complete that project, I didn't get around to mounting the wheels. These wheels have a silver finish and the entire wheel is painted exactly the same. In my opinion, they don't look anything like the liquid graphite color. It's much more silver.
If I can, they will get mounted this weekend, but otherwise, it will be next week sometime before I go out of town for a couple weeks.

It does not currently have TPMS sensors installed, but RonJon's are built specifically for Honda and Acura to fit the OEM TPMS sensors so you just have to move your current sensors to these wheels.

Ok, back from vacation...and then some. A few people wanted to see mounted pictures, so here they are. I tried to get some different lighting because direct sunlight just reflects too bright and doesn't show up correctly in the camera.
Really bad lighting but you can see OEM and Inspyre both mounted.

Do you still have the 5th un-refinished wheel?

I can't believe someone hasn't picked these up yet after nearly two years.

Isn't that funny? Me either. I love the way the look on the car but I don't drive my TL much anymore and my factory wheels have been on the car forever now so these just sit in my garage. We'll see if anyone is interested now....two years later.

Wolverine6g,
One tire had a side puncture and went flat which then scratched the wheel. That was last year sometime. I had the wheel repainted just recently so it is in perfect condition and I put a new tire. That brand new tire measures 9.5 center and the other three measure 6-6.5. Only one tire has less than 6.5 toward the side. It is closer to 5 and only toward one side of the tire so that one obviously got a little more wear. All measurements in 32nd of course.

Sorry for the late reply I didn't get a chance to talk with her about it yet spent the last 4 hours sitting in the ER with my 9 month old. And didn't want to bring this up. Sorry for the delay

Sounds like you have priorities squared away - Take care of the 9 month old first. Hope everything is okay.
