I purchased a set of the RDX brake caliper covers a while ago to do the cover mod for the 3G TL brake calipers. I am no longer planning on installing these as my plans have changed. These are brand new however since I was originally planning on powdercoating/installing them, I decided to fold back the center tabs so they wouldn't interfere with my brakes and that has caused some of the black paint to crack and chip where it was bent. I have attached a photo to show the flaw. The tabs can easily be bent back to their original positions and the paint chip is just a cosmetic flaw.

why did you fold back the tabs? how do they interfere with brakes?

For the rear brakes on the 3g TL, it will block access to the caliper for changing pads as the caliper cover would attach to the outer piece of the caliper setup and the center tab would block the caliper from moving. For the fronts brakes they don't interfere, however since these are made for the RDX, I saw installs where people kept the center tab but had to bend it upwards for it to fit the TL calipers to mount it and it looked ugly so I was planning on just using the side 2 tabs for mounting to keep it looking cleaner. I have also seen others cut the tab off instead of bending it back.
