Well it has been fun and also trouble free for over a year now. Unfortunately I am going to be selling my 07' TL-S and would like to sell the ECU separate from the car.

Here is info:

I have a JnR ECU tuned for a 07 TL-S (5at), but can be programmed to any TL as long as you know a tuner who is familiar with Megasquirt

I have the short harness with it and also have a Knock monitor hooked up to it, this is all ready to go and is a plug n play if you have a 07' TL-S 5at...If not then you may have to change different harness and or tune it as well for your vehicle...

The initial numbers I got with ECU was 281whp/246lbs....I later received another tune sent to my by Rodney and it should be over 290whp but I cannot confirm as I did not take it to get dyno'd. I did manage to go to the track and ran a 14.1sec with a trap speed of 102MPH!

The car was tuned by Rodney himself in Miami so tuning has not been an issue

I will let it go like I said for $600 FIRM plus whatever shipping will be to your state!!

Hopefully someone can get this and enjoy it as much as I did.....Also I may take sometime to respond back as I have been real busy so I will respond in order of who responds and is ready to pay for the item

 

So since i got a 05 6spd I would need a different harness and thats all, correct?

Yes the harness is different but I think the 6spd will work in the 5at but not the other way around....but his was for type S (3.5) you have a 3.2 the tune will be different for sure it could work for you but you won't be seeing the numbers you will expect unless you get it tuned for your make and model.

 

yes you need different harness and also a retune!! it will most likely run bad with my set-up tuned for a TL-S 5at catless

you are in the ballpark, yes he needs different harness, retune and if it was other way around yes i believe something along those line as one would not plug into nothing just left unplugged

How labor intensive/ballpark of price would it be to get this returned for an `05 3.2 automatic & since mine is an automatic would I be able to use your harness?...thanks...I'm pretty interested based on all of my supporting mods...

this is a hell of a good deal....we paid close to $1300 for this....

 

not sure on harness from 07' TL-S working on 05' but I believe 05 to 07 are completely different ECU's so honestly I would search into that before commiting, but not saying it cannot be done...If anything you may just have to get a new wiring harness for your year...

as for price and labor it all varies in your area for dyno tune time and or tuner familiar with MS3.....could be as cheap as $200 for a session of tune n install or upwards of $800plus not sure, I would ask around your area for knowledgeable tuners of MegaSquirt!
