Illuminated Door Sills + 3G Type S butchered Sills & Tails
I am selling some left over parts. All prices do not include shipping or Paypal fees. Plus, are "As Is"...as these are spare parts I am just getting rid of and are damaged.
Except...for these Red Illuminated Door Sills $70...orig. purchased from Supercomputers <1 yr. ago. They are not damaged...but, have normal wear from being close to a year old. And, I did have intermittent problems in the past....one sill would go out for a day, come back the next...then a different week later another went out. That only happened a few times....but all were working when removed. I think I had the wires crimped when they go over the door ledge. All sills come with all wires & relays and were working when I removed them.
Some damaged parts I have laying around I no longer need...maybe someone out there can use them.
I have the OEM 3G TL Type S door sills. These were mounted under the illuminated sills, and were damaged from the removal, I scrathed them up with a screwdriver when prying off the illuminated sill and the silicone used to adhere the illuminated sills on, stained the OEM sill.
If someone is interested in buying both Illuminated and OEM sills...you could use the my OEM's instead of taking a chance and ruining yours. Or you can try cutting up the OEM sills to fit the illuminaed ACURA logo like this guy did...

Or cover them with a Carbon Fiber overlay and use ACURA decals on top, like this guy did...

I also have some butchered Tails, from a Taillight Clearing job that went bad. Maybe these spare parts can go to good use. Both sets you can see I tried cutting/splitting the lights a different way...none worked.
Set #1 $30 The first below...I tried cutting right underneath the lens. But the heat discolored the clear lens...I then tried to touch it up with a sharpe. This may look good if some tinted or darken the lens.
Set #2 $30 This set was cut correctly...but I did not know to remove the guts from the lens to get to the corner light. I tried to cut that out too...I then realized my error & felt there was just too much glueing and started again.

They are pretty easy...ony 2 wires/per sill. You just have to find the right wires. Here is the instruction link below.

OEM sills sold. Everything else still available.
The swap to illuminated sills is not hard at all. Even though I had my buddy install them. I removed them....and it's only locating the 2 wires to tap into for each sill, thne you tuck the relays away behind the molding. I cut the wires...but left a lead, just in case something better comes out and I need to re-install.

dibs on the rear set1....can u put up some more pictures ??? does it come with the LED board (cant make out from the pictures)....
also what is damaged ??? u said the lens discolored, isnt is clear anyway ???

Sorry, sills sold. LED board not included. You are seeing the reflector that sits in front of the board. The lens around the edges got discolored from the heat of the cutter. At this point I just want to empty my basement. I want to get rid of them.
