GB: Mugen Grill

Called Clayton at King motorsports. Said the best he could do with ten (10) people would be 210.00. Regular price is 240.00. A little bit of a savings, better than no savings. There will be an extra charge of course for shipping, but I am sure it's not too much.
Anyways, he wants info to be passed through one person, ie: me. I will get mailing addresses, and phone #'s, either through my private e-mail or PM. Parts have to be paid via credit card, and I don't want anyones numbers, so that is why I need phone numbers, so he can call you to get the credit card #.
Any takers?

If interested, reply on this thread and I will get all the info together after we get 10 people.

1) is it pre-painted?
2) do we need anything else, ie the bottom trim piece from the other group buy etc
3) do you know if it's fiberglass or urethane?

Trust me, I want the exhaust as much as you do, but without the 5th person, we are SOL. I hate when people say they are in on a buy and then disappear. Makes it harder to deal with businesses when you call them up and never talk to em again because you can't round up the people to make the final purchase. We'll have to wait and see if a 5th person comes along.

I added you anyways to this buy though. That is 4, let's see how this one turns out!?

got the covers at www.jhpusa.com in stock, 150 for valve cover, I think it was 40 for the spark plug cover, might be less though.

Then you have to buy two more of the nut style covers (don't know how to describe it). They are the bolts that hold all the covers on. If you want them all to look the same color, then you will need 4 more, otherwise you will have two of the nut things that will be black. Make sense? I got mine through Acura for 4.00 a piece. A bit much, thought of it too late to go to Honda, might be cheaper?

I'll add you to the group buy, and I will call about shipping prices. I don't think it is a heavy piece, so I would guess no more than 15-20 bucks. Just to be on the safe side.

This makes 5, we're half way there, anyone else?

I can see that.....I will let him know, he said he didn't want a whole bunch of people calling him with the info...something about getting confused. He wanted all the information, but I would never ask someone else for their credit card number. I will ask if he'll do paypal or something. Help me out to think of another way for everyone to get him the numbers, unless it's just you and I'm sure he wouldn't mind a few calls. I look at it like this...while he is doing us a little favor of a price cut, we are doing a bigger one by bringing on a large order......we'll see. Let's get the people together first.

Did you mold that lip on there, or does it come like that to have the cover over the fogs?
Looks good by the way!

I purchase it with bunch of other parts, so I don't know exactly how much the grill itself is. But I ordered the painted one because I found out it would cost about the same as a local body shop would charge me painting it.

sorry, it was polepositionproducts that has the grill for $145. BPT has it for $172...

MC-CL7 said something about that...Maybe they can work it with either the Mugen grill or Euro-R for a discounted price, with 5 or more, rather than 10. We have 7, maybe 6 depending on xizor.

Called BPT, he says with 6 or more on either of the grills, it would be the following prices:

Mugen painted body color= 309 + shipping
Euro-R w/ body colored bottom trim piece= 139 + shipping

The six has to be of the SAME grill to get this price, not mix and match

With the Mugen grill, with the past group buy price, basically we would be looking at 60.00 for a painted piece. To me that is good, since those who have ordered them painted before have nice grills. Just my .02
