No, I did not get mines with the black lettering. So its kinda like a brushed aluminum look. They were never installed in the car.

I am not selling the KYB as I don't have stock shocks to replace them with.

Why is one header bent? Also I was interested in that comptech supercharger but I don't have 2900 dollars lying around. I was wondering if I could set up payments on it? Let me know, Oh and I don't buy without pics

If you purchased Comptech headers this past year, one of the rear collector's pipe has a new bend designed into it. Apparently, the previous design was prone to cracking. Search the 2nd gen forum or "black market" forum and you will hear about it. I had the rear collector replaced free by Comptech once before I got the latest design.

I just bought a header and it was the old one but its the one for a CL not for an Accord which was the one cracking the one for a CL or the Accord? Plus get back at me on the supercharger

 

I got dibs on the mirrors if they are electric.

 

what di you do with the battery?

 

how much of a pain is the supercharger to put on and what other mods to u need to have it run well??? i have the money so dont B/S

layedout95 - The mirrors are the electric ones. Like all aftermarket mirrors, it is not heated.

roddymerritt - my header is the one for the 98 CL. I think it was the rear collector design in general, not a specific model one. Not sure what u mean about getting back on the supercharger??? I still have the battery, 51R size. Don't know if I can ship that though.

fast98cl3.0 - Since I didn't do the install but an Acura mechanic did, I can tell you what he told me. The 2 main areas of installation different from Comptech's instructions are 1) The power steering line on the drivers side must be re-routed to make room for the recessed battery tray, 2) You must drop the CL fuel tank to install Comptech's upgratded fuel pump. It is not accessible via the trunk like it is for the Accord. You really don't need any other mods since it is a complete package. I would recommend though that you install a transmission fluid cooler and as Comptech recommends, change to Redline High Temp ATF. This is what I did with my car and I had no problems with the tranny. You might also try contacting CO30CL, he had the SC installed as well.

 

Pulleys are still available.

Dude, stop trying to snipe some one else's buy. The intake is sold, and the guy called dibs on the mirrors. Read the previous page.

 

To install the SC requires a smaller size battery (51R), it is in the same area of the OEM battery, but uses Comptech's tray which sits the battery lower.

Parts will go to the first person that pays me. So far I received a lot of "I want this" but no-one has actually made a payment.

roddymerritt - what do u mean by 'start pay'? if the optima yellow is the same size dimensions as the stock battery, you won't be able to use it with the comptech tray and would need to relocate it to the trunk.
