FS: TSX OEM MP3 CD Attachment Player
I recently purchased a complete 2007 navigation system off from a 2007 TSX. I successfully converted my car from a non-navi to a navi here at this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40387
I do not need this player which came off of the 2007 TSX. The 2007 TSX's are equipped with the factory add-on MP3 CD player attachment kit: MODEL 08A06-4E2-200.
In order to use this player, you must also purchase the attachment kit:
P/N 08B06-SEC-210 which runs about $70 at www.acuraoemparts.com
This player is tested fully working and because the salvage company had to cut the bus cables, I successfully rewired it back myself and tested it. However, when you purchase the attachment kit, you will not need my bus cable since it already comes with one as well as all the necessary brackets. Again, this player is fairly new since the navigation system I purchased were dated January/February 2007.
Note: Again, you will not be getting my re-wired bus cable in this picture because I can not guarantee it's quality. it doesn't matter like I said because you will be getting one when you buy the attachment kit! But you will be getting the brackets shown in the picture.
For instructions on how to install it, please view the PDF here:

Asking Price: $200 + $10 UPS shipping

yes it will work fine. The mp3 attachment kit was an accessory add-on to all models.
You will need to purchase the attachment kit like I said and you will remove the 14-pin B-connector cable from your navi radio. Plug that into this Mp3 player, then plug the new bus cable from the mp3 player to your navi radio. Basically, it's like a "Tee". This is how it was designed.
Once it is plugged in, you will see "CD-P" on your display when you switch to the aux.
Again, check the pdf for the install instruction.

Someone has asked a question of whether or not this would work in conjunction with a CD-C-like device such as a SHOND3, Icelink mp3 player...
the answer is yes. Essentially this Mp3 player has that pass-through 14-pin connector. So you would unplug your SHOND3 from the audio B unit connector, plug it into the Mp3 player's left side, then on the right side you can plug the bus cable from the mp3 to the audio B unit connector.
What this means is that, when you hit your [AUX] button, it will be scrolling from CD, to CD-P, to CD-C and vice versa.

Can you post a pic of it? The PDF instructions make it look like a tape deck adapter.
Do you plug your iPod to it directly?

Year and a half old thread, last post was a year ago with a question that went unansered, so the thread is now closed.
