these are anthrecite with polished lip, what i'd describe as very good condition ...a few very small nicks on the edge of the rim that meets the tire...one rim had a minor bend on the inner lip that i descovered rescently and had professionally repaired...there is no sign the bend was ever there now...i paid 100$ for the repair...im asking 1000$ plus shipping and will include my drag radials if the buyer wants them they are nitto 555R 245/45 and have many passes left in them however i would not recomend them for the street as the center section no longer shows tread and would be dangerous in any water

Couple of questions:

Whats the hub bore size on these SSR COmp wheels?

Can these wheels hubs be shaved in order to increase the offset, if so by how much? Would be nice of you to inquire if you are not sure.
How much for just the wheels?

I have brand new Subaru STi wheels/tires that I could trade you. They have the new Suby bolt pattern of 5x114.3 that matches Hondas, and the size of the rim is 17x8 +53mm offset.

Let me know what you think of my proposition and if you could answer some of my questions,
thanks

Nick

the bore size im un sure on but ill check there is a hubcentric ring in there to bring the bore down to the honda size the bore of the SSR is certainly greater than required for your scooby and im certain there's a hub centric ring for you...as far as the offset these are +48 and should fit your car just fine with just a 5mm difference to put that in perspective i noticed OZ superleggers being marketed for the new STi at 18-8 with a +45...i am interested in selling only the wheels at 1000$ plus shipping and sorry i no longer have the car and wouldnt need your o.e. wheels

Well let me know what the company says or any reputable machinist tells you on the matter of the wheel hub being shaved in order to increase the offset from 48 to lets say 50-53mm. Hopefully the bore is larger then my 64.1mm Honda bore as are most aftermarket rims so I can use hubcentric rings.

You would be suprised, the 5mm difference is enough to matter put it this way:
I had 17x8 +45mm offset TL rims on my 01 Accord sedan only to have them rub in the back on stock height, maybe if they had 225's then they wouldn't rub but Comptech sells 18x8's with a 51mm offset so I'm going for an eight inch wide rim with an offset close to that.

Anyway... how did that bend occur? It seems that these SSR rims might be easy to bend.
