FS: Reverse indiglo gauges

PRICE SLASHED!

4IG is selling the remaining gauges from last year's group buy. Less than 15 left. Price is $55 shipped.

Please note these are made for the 00-01 TLs. To fit the 99 TLs you have to trim the gear area with a knife. It may fit other years, but I can't say for sure. Read the posts below about this.

To order, send $55 through PayPal to: paypal@4-ig.com
Make sure to mention the PayPal payment is for the Acura TL reverse indiglo gauges, and also give your shipping address.

Not without trimming the shift section. Remember, the 99 is a 4-speed and the 00-03 is a 5-speed.

AcuraJoe, please delete some message from your forum inbox. Also check your sent messages folder. The forum tells me your mailbox is full, so I can't reply to your messages. Or just email me at: misc at n4te dot com

Joseph_99TL, same is going to go for those gauges you see on ebay. The gear boxes don't line up for 99 vs 00-01. The ebay auction is simply wrong.

They appear different colors because the gauges have different settings. They can have just the numbers glow, just the background glow, or everything glow. If I remember correctly, the background can change from a green indiglo color to a blue indiglo color, but I'm not exactly sure.

You guys with the 99TLs don't worry if you really want these gauges. All you need is a utility knife to trim the gear select area.

All 00 TLs are TL-Ps, since there are no TL-Ss for that year. Yep, it will fit your 00 TL.

Installation... I know there is info on these forums... see what I can dig up...

Here is how to take out and put back your gauge cluster:

http://www.acura-tl.com/faq/faq.php#8c

And here is an old post I found that explains how to put on the overlays (I've restored what pics I could):

http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...&postid=302393

Here is another thread about installing the gauges, though the images are gone, the text may be helpful:

http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=41925

And finally here are all the pics I have of them:

Yes I believe those are the differences between the 02 and 01 gauges. However, I am not sure that these indiglo gauges will fit over the 02 needles. Can someone please comment?

Yep, to order send $70 to the PayPal account with a comment that you are purchasing the Acura TL indiglo gauges and give the address you want them shipped to. They will be shipped out immediately.

Joseph_99TL and davey73, sorry I missed you question. Yep superman is right. You can have the background glow green indiglo, blue indiglo, or not at all. And you can have the numbers glow red/blue or not at all. Check out the pics in my first post in this thread, though they don't show the blue/green very well.

Just curious, but do you know the differences between the 01 TL and 03 CL-S 6 speed gauges? Your car might have the same gauges as the 02 TL, and I think someone fit these on an 02 TL, though I think they had to make a slight modification to fit it over the needles. You might do a search on it.

I recently installed these gauges in my 02 TL no problems. I did not have to make any slits nor cuts in the gauges they fit right over the old ones with a little manipulation over the needles.

Yep there still are some left. Read the first post in this thread to order. Make sure to mention the PayPal payment is for the Acura TL reverse indiglo gauges, and also give your shipping address.

I'd like to buy a set too. What exactly has to be "cut" or "trimmed" with an exacto? Will it still look good or will it look like $hit??

Let me know what the deal is...Thanks Alot!!

Love my 99, I've not done it, but the 99 TL has 4 gears instead of 5 so you have to trim the shifter area, where the boxes are. See how the gauge overlays have a bunch of boxes? I believe you make that into one big box, so it looks like this picture:
