FS: Catz MSX Gold Driving Light Kit
I have created a kit to add these excellent quality driving lights to the 2004+ Acura TL with stealth appearance. When the lights are off, you can not tell that you even have aftermarket fog lights. Though, when the lights are turned on during the day or night, they make the car very masculine as well as look HOT! Get yourself this kit and be noticed!
About the Lights:
Tomorrow's technology is available today with the all new Catz MSX. Catz is the first to introduce the combination of a Xenon charged Hyperbulb integrated together with a Multi-Surface Reflector to obtain more lighting output from a lower wattage bulb. It was taken one step further by using this technology and making it available in a super thin Die-Cast Aluminum housing that is user friendly to a larger variety of today's cars and trucks. The MSX housing is coated with a twostep Melamine finish and utilizes a Borosilicate glass lens. The MSX is a 55 Watt set of fog lights that will out perform lights of similar size with more than double wattage.
· Bulb: H3 12V 55W Hyperbulb
· Illumination Angle: 93 degrees
· Size: 1.97" (height) x 5.63" (width) x 3.15" (depth)
What’s Included:
2, Catz MSX Gold Driving Lights with Gold Casing
2, Mounting Brackets with screws/washers
2, Fog Light Connector Harness
2, Mounting Bracket Templates with screws
2, Mini 25-Fuse
5, Bullet Connectors
8, Tie Wraps
1, 12 Gauge Red Wire (about 6 Feet)
1, 12 Gauge Black Wire (about 6 Feet)
1, Roll of Electrical Tape
(Tools are not included)
Instructions: (1 Hour Install Time)
a)Cut an approximate 3 feet of black/red wire for each light
b)Crimp bullet connects to end of 2 black and 2 red wires
c)Splice a red and black wire with opposing bullet connector crimped ends to center of supplied fog light connector harness. We recommend soldering connectors, or at least twisting wires on tightly.
d)Insulate all connections with electrical tape. You may want to use electrical tape to insulate all wires for stealth installation.
e)Pop Hood
f)Remove plastic shroud from front of engine bay to expose light wiring
g)Remove stock fog light electrical connector from fog light, and insert fog light harness in between fog light and fog light harness
h)Snake your wire assembly that you made down towards the center of the car. Utilize tie wraps where necessary.
i)Remove plastic grills on bumper (they are held in by clip tabs).
j)Using the supplied mounting bracket templates, locate them to the utmost center of the bumper on either side of grill openings.
k)Mark the interior of the bumper and place fog light with bracket assembly and using supplied screws mount assembly to the bumper
l)Plug wire harness that you had created to each fog light.
m)In drivers cabin area, remove the appropriate fog light fuses, and replace with the higher capacity ones included.
n)Replace plastic shroud from front of engine bay.
o)Turn on headlights, and flip the fog light switch to fog light on. Your stock fog lights will illuminate with the new Catz Driving Lights
