FS: Alpine KCA-420i iPod adaptor for Alpine headunits

its basically new, I installed it and only used it twice, it was in a good sheltered location, so its all good and fine, works great, and will come with original packaging, got rid of the iPod for an XBox360, so thats why this is up for sale

since I need a price ill put out 80 bucks + Shipping since theyre still going for about that on eBay as a benchmark

but this is OBO

What is the installation process? Hide under the seat or passenger cabin? Where is it connected from?

you can hide the box wherever you please, and run the wires to wherever you want, it connects to Alpine headunits via. the Ai-net cable, then to the iPod from the iPod cable on there, you can control the iPod from the deck and all that good stuff

Where is it connected? Is it plug and play? Be more specific.

yes its just plug and play it plugs into an ALpine Ai-net port found on the back of the deck and straight into the iPod at the other end........ the greenish wire connects the deck and the control interface box, the black one goes from the box to the iPod...... all you really have to do is plug the wires into the proper ports in the box, run the green wire to the back of the headunit, and the black one to wherever you want the iPod to rest while its in use. I really dont know how much more I can really tell you

Deck you mean the GPS DVD player in the trunk? I can control the music on my steering wheel and the touchscreen monitor?

no..... deck = Headunit.... I suppose if your headunit supports the steering mounted conrols it could control the iPod from there, just make sure the 1st part of your model number ends with the letter "A" so that you have an Ai-NET port to plug it into
