Up for sale is my 1997 Civic DX Coupe that I have had since 2001. I bought it originally for $7500 from a 1 owner non-smoker with 72,000 miles on it. (I have done EVERY modification to this car). Since then I have babied this car and have done a JDM B18C Motor Swap many exterior modifications all with the JDM concept in mind. I now attend College out of town and need to sell this car because I hardly ever drive it. Car was completely stock until the summer of 2003, so all modifications were done very recently. All parts on car, I mean ALL parts on car were bought brand new. Car is very well taken care of and has ZERO liability issues.
The motor was purchased at Pacific Performance and was a full front clip. It had 43k written on the valve cover (kilometers or miles I don’t know but we will go with miles to be on the safe side). Wiring harness was COMPLETELY converted to OBD1. In the summer of 2004 Columbus caught a torrential downpour and my Cold Air Intake at the time sucked up some water and the bottom end let loose (bending a rod) hence the 98 USDM block. The block was purchased with only 20k miles on it and was completely taken apart and put together with New Bearings new Rings and I hand scrubbed each piston till it looked brand new (Since I was there I might as well have made it worth while). It was all put together with brand new seals and gaskets from factory Honda. Head was checked and ZERO damage occurred. Motor has Never Been Revved past 8500 rpms.
All exterior Modifications (besides the coilovers and tint) were done within this fiscal year.

The Good: Very reliable with Cold AC and Hot Heat. Ready for someone to jump in and drive every day and look good while doing it.
The Bad: Car needs an antenna and maybe a camber kit if you’re picky. Also the Hood latch is broken but an Aluminum bracket was created to open when needed.
The Ugly: 4th Gear Scrubs a little when shifting past Vtec but goes into gear fine otherwise, no resistance.
Car Ran 14.7 @ 96 on 16” Street Tires, and ran a 14.4 @ 98 on 20” MT Slicks Bogging through first. Car has seen the track about maybe 4 or 5 different occasions and ran maybe 4 or 5 times on each trip. Car only saw 4 passes on slick then it rained out. Seeing that it weighed in at 2650lbs Full Interior and a half tank of gas, given right conditions I foresee low 14’s.
I have all of the slips for the times and have most of the receipts I just have to find them all. Like the title says I have invested about $16,000 into this car over the past few years (Including original purchase price) and the current Kelly Blue Book Value on it was $4300.

well, it has paint thats only 3 weeks old. I have reciepts for all the work ( 4,000 + ) its baked on as well using only premium PPG. It has new glass installed ( tinted of course ) I/H/E/ larger wires, Short shifter, Full leather trim ( premium edition ) Lowerd on groundcontrols in the front and balanced. rear is to spec and the car is raked for better holehsot. Internal modifications are extensive as well there listed in my signature. Just curious, do you have any more pictures of the car ? What would this car need to break 14s and dip into the 13s

Really a good set of slicks would get you into the high 13's. When I ran it was on 20" slicks and I was still spinning them off the line and bogging down when they finally caught. A set of 22" by 8" would be perfect. I'll get some more pics for you this weekend, I'm pretty busy with school so its hard to find time during the day.
