7443's are a dual output design- hi/lo and 7440's are a single output only. 7443's are used when one bulb has 2 functions(hi/lo) like front parking light/ blinker bulbs and rear brake-hi/parking light-lo bulbs. 7440's are used as single output indicators whether its a blinking or steady output.

just remember this when you buy whatever type of bulb it is you need-

whatever color your lenses are, you want the SAME color of LED bulb/light emitting through that lens. for example- all RED lenses should have all RED LED bulbs just like AMBER bulbs for AMBER lenses only. i originally assumed that Super WHITE LED's would appear as brighter behind red or amber lenses, but i was WRONG.

okay, if anyone wants these LED bulbs you can have them all for just 50.00-shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
just barely over a month ago i paid over 200.00 bucks after shipping for 4 pairs of the #3 and #5 in both amber and red... each bulb is 25.00. i decided to keep the #3 style in amber and the #5 in red. that is why i have these brand new ones left over.
