FS: 3GTL A-Spec rims, Falken ZE512's AND TPMS.

Today I did my second oil change, and pulled off the A-Spec rims/tires and reinstalled my stockers for the winter...
I decided long ago that when this day came, I'd put these up for sale. Those 19" Privat Netz have had my eye for quite some time, so I'm gonna go for a set.

These wheels/tires have about 7000 miles on them, and are virtually flawless... other than a little brake dust staining on the inside of the rims... no curbage at all on rims. They come with TPMS sensors already installed, so they'll bolt right up to a 2006 - 2007 TL. 2004/2005 TLs can use them too, but will have no need for the TPMS sensors, but they won't hurt anything...

Specifications

OEM A-Spec rims, PN 08W18-SEP-880A (see picture)
18x8 +45 offset

These are the "dark chrome", it's almost a "black chrome" finish. It looks great, but I think it would look best on the new 2007 TL-S which is outfitted with similar black chrome accents.

Falken ZEIX ZE 512 235-40R Z18... 85% tread left.

TPMS sensors installed and functioning.

$1600 ready to roll.

Prefer local to Northern Virginia buyer (I'm in Stafford, VA), but will ship at your expense.

Thanks. Yeah, the A-Spec Rims are a bit pricey considering they're manufactured by Enkei.

Needless to say, I consider my asking price to be a great deal, as this setup new, from discount Acura dealers, is over $2200. Considering the low milage... this is the setup to jump on.

No doubt though, the A-Specs are for the purist, who wants only the titled "A-Spec" setup explicitly.

Already got a few "tire kickers", but no commitment yet. C'mon folks.

I have the wrong part number listed (not sure what that 880A refernces)...

It's 08W18-SEP-200C - which is defined as "chrome look"...

But they're not chromed, it's clearly a painted/powdercoated finish.

and it's not "chrome" either... as I stated, the finish is much darker, almost a black chrome.

Kinda confusing...

Hey man,

If you have a buyer that doesn't need to purchase the TPMS sensors, I would be interested in them.

Those rims look great, but it would be a hassle to ship them cross country.

Problem is, It would cost over $100 to remove the sensors, as the tires have to be removed, then the wheel has to be rebalanced. Don't want to spend money to sell these.

It would be a hassle to ship the wheels, but I'd split the cost. I've shipped wheels via Fedex before. How's $1650 delivered to your door?

Sorry man. I'm not in the market for rims at the moment. The tread on my stock tires are still pretty good.

Thanks for the quick response though. Good luck with the sale!

No sweat... Christmas time is coming... and with that will come many boys and girls wanting a set of A-Spec rims for their TL. They'll be here.

Do you happen to have a picture of these on your car? The pictures make it seem as if they aren't that dark, but you say they are.

Also, what are all the different types of finishes for the TL A-Spec wheels?

Well actually, I don't have a picture on the car (because it's so filthy)... but there are many great threads describing the different A-Spec wheels available. The short answer summary is described below:

"Silver Sparkle":

"Chrome Look" - These are what i have for sale:

"Hyper Black":

All three:

I have shamelessly collected pictures of these particular wheels from other forum posts, I hope the orignial posters don't mind if I use thier pics to show what these wheels look like on a TL (Thanks Jerky ):

Hope that helps...

Thanks!

Matt,
No idea on the TSX.
If you have a "wheel fitment thread" on the TSX boards the wheels dimensions are: 18x8 with a +45 offset. Check and see if that'll fit.

The sensors wouldn't hurt anything. You could run them until you replaced the tires, then sell them here on the forums for about $90-100. That's how I got them.
