will this only work with a Panasonic head unit or any brand and does it come with the power plug?

I tried it on my Alpine deck and it plugs in by audio/video cables and it has anti-shock so the movies dont skip.

I just recently purchased a navi/dvd converter....would this work hooked up to just the navigation screen (no aftermarket head unit)? Where are you located, and what shipping method do you use? Let me know.

im located in New york and I send all packages by UPS....yes it will it hook up by your regular audio/video cables it doesn't need to have a Panasonic aftermarket radio. I thought that myself but the unit is like a regular home dvd player that hooks up to any tv or monitor but its compact enough to be considered a mobile dvd player.

hey lou, what power plugs are you using?

the unit comes with wires that are long enough to reach the front so I hooked them up to the radio power wires. all it needs is a continiues power source it can even be ran straight from the battery, a ignition power which you can hook it up to the radio or cigeratte lighter fuse for ignition power or to the remote wire for the Bose amp. and then ground to the car chassis. The unit has a 12' remote eye which you place in the front so you point the remote control to to play, ff, rw, slow motion, pause.....all the function a regular DVD player has plus the unit has 3 sec. anti shock so the movie or MP3 will not stop when you hit a bump.


so basically with this unit you can play a movie on your navi screen or play MP3 on your Bose unit CR,CD-RW and all the Mp3 texts are displayed on the screen....believe me the only reason why iM selling is because I bought the Iva-d900
