F/S: Mobil1 M1-105 Oversized Filter
I know a lot of you guys love to change your own oil and a large number uses the Mobil1 filters... specifically the M1-105 filter.
I had bought 5 from her and she was willing to give it to me at $6 each shipped. I am pretty sure that they go for $10+ and even $13 at some auto stores so here you get to save some money.
Here is her contact info
Monica > BroxMom2000@aol.com
You can email her asking about the M1-105 filters if you want to order. You can mention "Gee" and/or "Bxscig" and say it is for $6 shipped. I don't think you have to order 5 or something large to get this price I believe.
I haven't gotten mine yet but should in a few days. Oh btw, she runs an ebay store and all with good ratings. She sells tons of other Mobil1 filters but didnt specifically list the M1-105 but I asked her. Also, she does not have the M1-104 the last time I had asked her.... maybe in the future.
Enjoy!!!!

Yeah, I called autozone and they said $12 + tax. A lot more than I expected to pay that is for sure. I should get my 5 oil filters in a few days. Won't get to use them until 2000 miles or so later... Can't wait to do my own oil change on the TL.

She has updated her ebay store to include this item now so you can buy via ebay as well. Here is one of the options, check her ebay store for more.

It appears one of you contacted her already about a purchase. For 1/2 price, can't beat it.

It'll stay at $35...
Hi Gee,
I HAD to increase by this little bit, b/c I was profiting virtually NOTHING! Please know, however, this is still a GREAT DEAL!! Like I said - the retail stickers are still on these things for $9.99 each - and you're getting 5 of them for a TOTAL of $35! That's only $7 each, with No Tax or Shipping!
Please forward this to your friends as well - and you guys please don't be upset.
Thank You!

The M-104 is the same exact size as the OEM. The M-105 she is selling and what the post is referring to is the OVERSIZED filter, which works just fine. Keep in mind you will need to add *slightly* more oil in the crankcase to compensate for the larger filter.

I bought my M-105's from her! Great deal! Anyway, the M-105 fits fine, it is a little bit shorter than the OEM, but seriuosly its like 1.5 times in diameter if not more.. At first I was worried but it fits in there! Just did my change a couple days ago with Mobil 1 5w-30 and the M-105!
I prefilled the filter with oil before screwing it on, although some people don't. When you're refilling the crankcase check the oil level, the filter is larger and thus requires more oil (duh) to fill to the correct level. We're not talking quarts here but check on it!

Last I heard, she thanked me for cleaning her stock out.... was almost out of stock and this was a week ago. Not sure if she has restocked.
I'll ask if she has more.

well it takes alittle bit more oil, but in theory, the larger the filter, the more filter surface area, filtering out as much of dirt in the oil as possible helps the oil to stay cleaner longer..

Did everyone else get their filters? I still haven't got mine and I bought them in late may..and she's not responding to my emails. Does anyone have better contact info for her? I'm about to file a fraud claim... :sqnteek:
