Why are you guys so hot to get rid of your Megans?

I have heard plenty of con and some pro about these headers. The fact that you want to give them away essentially for free to put the stock manifolds back on is a curiosity.

i am thinking about closing this thread because i dont think it is going to be worth me selling them for less than $200 because i would not only loose a lot of power after i get rid of them but i am going to have to pay $100 to take them off too. The hissing noise is called resonance and it comes from air that passes through the pipes . The air hits some rough welds in the headers i guess and it whistles. I reduced the noise a lot by replacing the useless first flex pipe with a streigh pipe and the noise has almost completely gone away except for a faint hiss from 2-3k rpm when throttle is 1/2 pressed or more. The sreight pipe also increased air flow and air gets out quicker now and my magnaflows sound deeper and got a little louder.

And as far as HP goes i would expect somewhere around 20HP especially with the flex pipe because it sort off fixed a major leak. Correct me if i am wrong for those who have dynoed.

As of right now i am not going to sell them unless someone is offering to take them off and put my old ones for free, then i would sell these for $170.
