I have one question. Since the S/C has been siting so long, has it been stored properly. What I mean by is, were all openings covered to stop dust getting in and was it stored cool/dry place.

Completely valid question. Yes, the kit has been bubble wrapped, boxed, and stored in a cool/dry closet. No contact with the elements whatsoever.
