Comptech S/C kit

Category: Accessories
Price: $2000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Other Honda/Acura
Location (State/Prov/Terr): VA
Item Condition: Used

Comptech Supercharger kit for 98-99 Accord. (It will also fit 00-02 Accords and 3.2tl s with slight modifications)

Im putting my Comptech S/C kit up for sale. I bought this kit 2 years ago from a v 6 p member. Ive never installed it so as far as I know it has all the necessary parts included. The kit comes with a CLS high boost pully and an additional feul pressure regulator that the guy I bought it from added on himself. The kit was broken down to check the internals, so the S/C will need some oil. Im also including a Unichip in the price of this kit along with a set of engine covers for the 3.0L that I will spray whatever color the buyer wants. The Unichip is setup for a S/C application as well as NOS. The extension shaft that runs from the blower to the pully is sanded down because I was going to color match it to my car. I can either color match it to the engine covers(for free) or polish it for a small fee. I would much rather a local pickup but will ship if necessary.

Asking price is $2300 for everything.....

New price 22Aug10 $2000 + shipping

To answer the why am I selling question before it gets asked, because I am going to put this money towards my 3.6 swap and eventually run the m90 blower. the quicker this gets sold the quicker I can finally start my swap. I will be posting this on other sites but im going to let it run up here for a few days before doing so.....

Unfortunately it's kind of par for the course on automotive forums. Everyone talks a big game, but when it comes to crunch time, they fold. Guys like us that stick to our word are definitely the minority here. I'll stop thread crapping now. Just had to get that out.

I know the feeling. I've got a 3g S/C kit and I'm running into the same stuff. Them: "Oh, I want to buy it", Me: "Great, send a payment", *crickets...* Hahaha. But seriously though, GL with your sale. Looks like a solid kit and the buyer would be getting a good deal.

For the most part, I don't think you need the type S elbow which is good since that goes for over $200 brand new from Comptech. The fuel line for the 98-99 Accords is 24" I believe after that its 12". Just measure the distance from where the Comptech or any aftermarket FPR is going to be in the middle back of the car near the firewall to the stock FPR location.

I got an email from him today (after I banned him from the Black Market to give him a reason to reply to my PM) and he said he has family in Japan who are missing and he has been having a really bad time, and he's sorry he didn't contact the people he stood up.
