Comptech Icebox For Sale
Hey all,
I do not post items from our store For Sale in here, however, these two are an exception as they're not part of our regular inventory.
I currently have two Iceboxes for sale which are leftovers from our original group-buy. These are brand new, sealed, in the Comptech box and we have them in stock, ready to ship.
Price is $245 shipped, payment by money order/check only, made out to Custom Car Creations. Payment would be sent to:

P.O. Box 2104
Peekskill, NY 10566
FYR, we sell these in our store for $268 shipped, so you're still getting a great deal.
Item will ship after payment is received. If it's a money order or cashier's check.. it will ship the next business day. If it's a personal check it will ship in about 5 business days after the check clears.
The Icebox will be sent via UPS Next Day Air. If Priority is available in your area, we'll send it Next Day Priority, all included in the price!

OK, topic is back open. We went to the warehouse to pull the Iceboxes and wouldn't you know that one of the Iceboxes was for the 99-03 TL-P / 01-03CL-P / 98-01 Accord (Part #330-140).
So that one is still available. If anyone is interested, let me know!

I'm a newbie....so excuse my ignorance
Which CAI is the best? Is this one any better than the AEM or Injen? Or is there any real difference in the CAI's?
I want one, but I want the best....dyno proven one.

Are you saying that the Comptech produces even more power than this AEM claim? I'm not certain that this 'dyno' is legit, what do you think?

Well, the #1 rule for mods is to never believe a manufacturers dyno b/c it's usually well overstated (example... I've never seen a members dyno show more then a 8hp gain on the AEM/Injen intakes). There have been about 2 or 3 dynos done by members which show the Icebox puts down anywhere from 2-4 more HP then the AEM.

What kind of filter does the Comptech use? And how can you clean it? And if you can clean it, where can you get the cleaning kits? Or do you have to buy replacement filters?

No problem guys... but the only way I'll get more is if there are cancellations, which probably won't happen at this point since they're almost all delivered. As mentioned earlier in the post we may run another special later in the year.
For now I still have one Icebox for sale for a CL-P/TL-P/Accord.
