Had it for about a year n a half. Since I'm getting rid of my car, will have no need for it anymore. Everything is in good working condition. Will probably have to reset it or reprogram it to how you want it. The concealed display has a velcro sticker and sticky residue because I stuck it in front of my steering wheel. V1 is a great radar detector, with the concealed display and all original stuff too? If so then that is a pretty good price, gl on sale. I'd cop this if I didn't have the RX65 Pro. Free bump.

a remote display that partners with V1, moving all the visual warnings to a location of your choosing while V1 continues on duty in the dark mode.

But wouldn't you need to stick the V1 up in front of your windshield anyways (thus showing where it is), so you can get the "best" signal?

Usually mount the V1 as high on the windshield as you can. Muting the V1 every time you get a false alert is a pain, its also a pain to see where its coming from. So I got the concealed display and mounted it in front of my steering wheel so I don't have to keep looking up or reaching high to mute it. Its hell of a lot easier when you have the concealed display. Other people may get it because its illegal to have a radar detector. So they mount it where its not too visible from outside or inside and hide the concealed display somewhere else. I believe someone on this forum did that.
