CLOSED! FS: PIAA FR-S Gunmetal 18''

I got these a couple of days ago but didn't really like them. Put them on the car, went for a ride and took them off. Wheels and tire package (no splitting). Reason for selling it, not quite my taste. My car 04' TL. (they fit perfectly)

Wheel: PIAA FR-S 18'' 18x7.5 48mm offset. 5-114.3
Tires: Federals 235/40/18

No scratches at all. ANyone interested send me an email so I can send pictures.

Wanted to stop by here before posting on ebay.

Asking price: $1400 + shipping (How do you ship these by the way?)

gabriel_kim@hotmail.com or PM me. Thanks...

I really like the wheels but not really into dark wheels. That's why I'm selling them.

And of course included are:

-Lugnuts (4 per wheel), no wheel locks though.

-CArbon fiber center caps

-Piaa's original valve cap

-Hub centric rings.

-Wheels and tire are balanced.

Guys,

I've decided to go and change the tires for another specs. The new tires are Federals 235/40/18. Here are the new pictures and you will notice some minor scratches on the inside lip of the wheel which happened while dismounting and mounting the new tires.
Price is the same so PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE THIS DEAL!

Wheels are already balanced and ready to be mounted!!

I can't find any objective information about these tires. The manufacturer's website has some testimonials that say they are great for drifting and they make impressive amounts of smoke.

Does anyone know anything about these? They have a 240 wear rating. I've not heard of Federal or Maxis.

Thanks

Well, I've heard that these aren't the best tires on the market but that they aren't the worst either. Same as kuhmos, hankook, etc. This Federal tires are popular in japan though.

Part of your prob was that you bought rims that were only 7.5 wide. That makes em sit farther back in the well a minor bit.

Yes, they are 7.5 but whem mounted there wasn;t much difference or any difference at all as when I had the stock ones.

MichaelBenz is correct. The outer lip of the wheel actually sits 0.4" deeper into the fender well than stock. They are not really meant for the 3G TL because of the width and offset.

The wheels and tires should fit 2G TL, TSX, and Accord just fine. With smaller 225/40 R18 tires they will even fit 06 Civic, older Accord V6.

Descent tires from Taiwan. Had them on an older car and did alright. But IMO they are not better than the Kumhos or Hankooks. Probably more like Nankangs or Wanlis which I've never tried. These inexpensive brands would only be popular in Japan for drifting.

Have you tried selling this on Craig's list? You'll have a bigger audience of people with various cars. Good luck!

Actually I have someone interested on them right now but if he changes his mind I'll let you guys know. What pictures do you need? So I can go take them.

And regarding the shipping, I guess it's around $120 within the US.

yeah that pic is of another members car, but that's the same color as mine. It looks metallic gray but in certain lights the green comes out. What do you think?
