CLOSED! FS: A&L Racing Wheels 19 X 8.5
Item: A&L Racing 388
Color: Hyper Silver
Manufacturer: Enkei
Forged: According to Enkei, these wheels are M.A.T. forged.
Size: 19 X 8.5
Offset: +42
Fit over Brembos? YES!
Tires: General Exclaim UHP 245/35/19
Extra’s included: Gorilla wheel locks, and hub-centric rings.
Reason for Selling: I need the money.
Info w/ regards to the wheels: These wheels were designed by Import Drag Racing legend Adam Saruwata. As mentioned above, they are manufactured by Enkei, using their M.A.T. Forged technology. (http://www.enkei.co.jp/en/t_mat.html) I’ve checked various websites, and the lowest price I’ve found so far was $379/wheel. Cheapest I found online
Info w/ regards to the tires: General? Who the hell are they? Apprently, they are owned by Continental (someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what I read). These tires, imo, are exellent, especially for the price you pay ($127 each at tirerack.com), you cannot go wrong. Here is a review by a member on the forum (Johnny--2k) Johnny--2k's post The thread also contains pictures of the tread pattern.
Also, here’s more info from tirerack.com: Info on General Exclaim UHP
Total retail price:
$379/wheel x 4 = $1516
$127/tire x 4 = $508
Total = $2024
Asking price: $1600 plus shipping
I would prefer local, that way I wouldn’t have to deal w/ shipping, but I am willing to ship at the buyer’s expense. Unfortunately, because I’m not too familiar with paypal system (w/ regards to receiving money), I will ask for check or money order.

Maybe your not priced right?
No offense intended but a number of us have been buying a new 19 tire/wheel combo under $1,500 so your probably priced on the high side. In most cases, you get about 50% of what you paid out of pretty much anything (no matter how new they may be). With the curb damage, it's another $100/rim to fix so I'd recommend you throw them on eBay with a starting bid of around $900 and see if you get any bites. You could always put a reserve out there at around $1,200 to make certain you got at least that amount for them. Enkei's can be bought REALLY inexpensively at a number of online shops so keep that in mind as well. Good luck with your sale

However, you will see that I have already dropped the price $100 due to the damage on one wheel. I saw the $100 drop in price fair due to the damage.
With regards to the wheels being Enkei. These are made by Enkei for A&L racing. The reason these wheels are more expensive than typical Enkei wheels are due to the way they are made, and for whom they are made.
Case in point, Banana Republic versus GAP versus Old Navy. The GAP is the company that makes the clothes. So then, why is BR more expensive? What makes Old Navy less expensive? Quality.
These are quality wheels. As you can see, I have already posted the retail price of these wheels as comparison (and they were the cheapest that i could find online.) Some places are asking upwards of $450/wheel.
I hope you do not see this as a rebuttle to your statements.
Just tryin to sell my wheels.

No offense and thanks for the understanding response. I do understand now. I guess I didn't "absorb" the higherline references when I reviewed this ealier. So it's all cool. I was looking for rims myself and that's how I originally had your thread marked. Just never got any further into researching yours when I found a deal on some 19's. Good luck with your sale.

I am very interested. Would you be able to weight the wheel and tire to see how heavy they are?

I don't know how accurate my scale was, so i didn't want to give you false information.
However, i weighed myself at 166, and the scale, after i stepped on it w/ the wheels was 210.
The tires weight 23lbs as per tire rack, and thus i'm guessing the wheels weigh 21lbs.
If you want, i can bring it in to a UPS or Fed Ex and actually get the wheels+tires weighed.
