Car Stereo, plus some other stuff
Hey all, I’m selling my car stereo from my previous car. It’s all about 1.5 years old, except the subs, which are new, and everything works. Local pickup is preferred, as I really don’t want to ship anything. I’m close to Chattanooga, TN and I’d be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet someone. If you are in Huntsville or around there in Alabama, I could swing by as well as I have family there. If you are serious, and want pics, I can take some and email them to you.
Alpine CDA-7875 $250 (silver w/ blue, three pre-outs, has remote, $450 new)
MTX Thunder 4122 $75 (50x2 @ 4ohms, $150 new)
MTX Thunder 6500D $250 (775x1 @ 2ohms, $450 new)
(2) MTX Thunder 6000 10” subs $200 (NEW in boxes, 500w each, never opened, $240 at the store)
(2) Q-logic 10” sealed boxes (used, free with subs above, $140 new)
(2) Polk Audio EX3 5.25” coaxials $50 ($90 new)
Monster Cable 1 Farad Cap and wire/blocks/fuse holders $100 (Tsunami cap-block mounted on cap, another Monster 4ga block, two Monster 4/8ga fuse holders w/ fuses, lots of red&black Monster 4&8ga wires, $280+ new)
Monster Cable 5m/16.4ft MicroXLN 4ch $40 ($70 new)
Take it all for $900. New retail is $1870, and with our 9.25% tax here, is $2024.98. This stuff is priced at more than $100 less than half the new cost! If you want most of it, but not certain things we can probably work something out too.
Also, some other random stuff I have to get rid of:
Kenwood TM-241a 2-Meter 50w Mobile Ham Radio
Motorola D43LRA7PA5BK 45w Mobile VHF Radio 16pin acc. and full logic chip
Federal 300GC SelecTone Industrial Siren w/ TM-2 Yelp Tone Module – 120v only!
Ultralight Airplane Strobe Kit – I can’t find it right this sec, lol, but if someone wants it I’ll locate it and give you the details.

No prob. I've got a police siren...hehe but it's not for sale. If you really want one, you can get used ones pretty cheap on eBay. Just make sure you don't get an old one with like manual selector dials, and buy a good brand: Whelen and Federal Signal are two of the best. You'll need the siren box AND a speaker/horn.
It's funny as hell when some soccer mom is speeding (and of course talking on her cell while swerving in and out of lanes) and you hit the front strobes and chirp the siren. Ooooo, they put those phones down and get in the damn slow lane lol. Crazy women are gonna kill someone - and they say us younger drivers are the dangerous ones. Sheesh.

yeah i got pulled over by my friends before and i swear my pants were full of something when they did. i was coming home drunk one night and they were sitting out in my friends black z28 with red strobes and siren. I sped by them and they started flashing...I was almost on the phone with my Mom to come get me out of jail. Hell, I ain't the one. Anyway, whenever I get a black car, I will get them back oh yes, I will....(evil laughter)
