Alpine Cda-9835 $350

ALPINE CDA-9835 IS ALPINE'S TOP OF LINE HEAD UNIT. Tons of options to customize to your liking. Check out their website for specs and pics. Also included in sale is an adaptor so that you can plug in an Ipod or any outside source straight into the unit. So that there is no loss of sound quality. This unit made my stock speakers sound like componets, very clean. Was installed in my Explorer which I traded in for the TL and decided not to install. Local pick up in MA is preffered but willing to ship. Comes with everything you need to install including original box and manual. Asking $350 obo

One more question: Do these units (Alpine head units) work with our steering wheel as far as controlling tracks of (CD&FM) and volumn? Thanks much

You are able to use the controls on the steering wheel you just need to get some sort of adaptor. Your local audio shop should know what to get. I asked the same ? when I was goi to install it. As for the difference the 9835 has a different display and the amp is better. You can compare them at alpine-usa.com under products.

yeah it uses the AUX input. you have to still use your ipod if you want to change songs and what not.

ok, would you consider selling separately?

bump is just something used to bump the thread to the top of the forum.

Separately? The adaptor cost me $30. If anything I am throwing it in for free with 10 ft of cable to plug in any outside source. If you want pics check out boston.craigslist.org look under electronics and search for Alpine CDA-9835.
