Hey guys, I'm selling my old set of type-s headlights (the ones that were supposed to go to Elegant_type_S but he might be upgrading to a type-s so that was a no-go).

The finer details:

Corners; Diffuser
They come with the clear diffuser with the corner blacked out. The two rectangular pieces where the amber reflectors are have been dremeled out and the chrome backing was painted black. I will also provide brand new 1157 sockets.

Defects
These have angel eyes in them (4) but they seem to be falling off. So I recommend re-opening them and installing a new set. All rings light up except for one which is really dim.

The bezels seemed to have slightly warped, barely noticeable from 10+ feet away. But I will be providing a brand new set of bezels for you, so once you open them up, just take out the old ones and replace them with the new ones.

The driver's side headlight has a broken tab but I have been driving around with the headlight without the tab and it has not given me ANY problem whatsoever.

The headlights do not come with ballasts nor do they come with HID bulbs.

Other than that, they are in awesome condition, no scratches or cracks of any sort. These brand new are approximately 900 shipped from oemacuraparts.com (Acura of Peoria).

The price reflects the condition.

Also want to add one more thing, Elegant_type_s has brand new bezels and I believe he has a back housing for the broken tab, I don't think he's looking to get that much for these items but if you want the type s headlights to look brand new, PM him as he is willing to help you bring my headlights to brand spankin new condition.

Yes in the general sense.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

1. You shouldn't turn on your foglights since the wattage is higher; the inner bezel is made for DRLs.
2. Your turn signal hole is 1157 instead of 7443.

Can I use my HID bulbs and ballasts with these?

 

Yes, If you have an 06. 04-05 ballasts are too big. But you can use any D2C/D2S HID bulb.

Just don't know if I should add anything (halos, leds, etc) or sell them as is, refinished.
