3G TL-S Headlights with ZKW-R lenses

Category: Accessories
Price: $475
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G, Type-S Model
Location (State/Prov/Terr): NY
Item Condition: Used

I have a set of 3G TL Type-S headlights in great condition. They have been opened up and the inner housing has been sprayed with a flat black. The amber pieces have been painted a reflective silver while the chrome strip has been painted a gloss black, although some of the paint is coming off; this can't be seen from far. See pictures. ZKW replica lenses have been dropped in and tuned for clarity and sharpness of cutoff.

$475 picked up 11362 NY, $500 shipped.

Cheers!

I noticed this problem on the majority of TL headlights, the strip makes contact with the outside lens, and if its painted it usually rubs off. and for oem chrome, it usually creates a white spot near the amber(occurs to 90% of TL headlights)

thats a good idea about spray painting it silver, its a much cheaper alternative to the USR ones

Yeah slight chipping off the strip is hard to avoid. No biggie though:-)

I am interested and maybe I am not seeing the true value in these, but $475 seems pricey to me.

These are considered on the cheap side, if anything. OEM headlights people.

i gotta agree with twigglius... for something that has been open and modified, $475 is on the high side. one set just recently sold for $450 and was in excellent condition and never has been opened or modify. besides the extra work you gotta do to fix the trim piece, price is okay but that is just my opinion. GLWS.

$400 for OEM headlights + $50 for zkw lenses + $10 for paint + labor .

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

^ x2! I think it's resonable price for all the work on OEM lights IMO. Especially removing old sealant is PITA. Good luck w/sale!
